Join us for a special TWO overnight weaving course nestled in the heart of Kupidabin, where culture, creativity, and connection flourish.

📅 Date: Friday, 19th July to Sunday, 21st July 2024
⏰ Time: Powhiri is at 4:00pm on Friday afternoon (starts from the carpark)

Materials and tools will be provided - but if you have certain colours (for the wool), additional feathers other than the ones we provide, then please bring them with you. If you do decide to bring your own wool, please ensure it is at least 8PLY and the same brand.

What you need to bring is your:
- own bedding (sleeping bag, blankets, pillows, etc)
- gumboots, slippers and warm clothing (ie. Oodies, Uggies, Beanies, etc)
- "I can do" attitude!

Because you are creating a medium-sized kākahu/korowai, it will not be finished by the end of the wananga. We will however, be offering five, one-on-one mentoring sessions (over 5 weeks) with our Kaiako (Whaea Marcia) to tautoko (support) you to finish your kākahu/korowai. There will be an additional cost and these sessions can either be in person or online.
