Monochrome bedroom styling. Our go to for luxury and sophistication 🤍🏡
Bedrooms are a great way to appeal to a broader market. Our master bedroom will always reflect the same style and colour palette as the rest of the property but the supplementary properties are the stylists’ choice!
Our recent installation at an over 50’s village display unit. We were given freedom in terms of style and aesthetic. Our team ran with deep bold earthy colours that are on trend at the moment and add a touch of gold for sophistication. The result – well the Village Display directors were so happy we did a buy out of the styled furniture!

A great stylist will provide function to most corners of a home - if you can’t figure out how to use a space when you’re living in a home, how can a buyer imagine the space!
Earthy luxe, bedroom edition. Layers of natural colours and earthy textures combined to create a sanctuary in this display apartment 🩶🤍🦊
A common occurrence – the owner thought she was getting a repaint with a white paint. Whilst she did, it was lexicon – a grey based paint which when paired with the cream finishes, didn’t look perfect. Why did this happen? It takes less coats of grey based white paint to cover up old school Hogs Bristle colour…..and obviously, less coats of paint mean a lower price. Lesson – find yourself a great painted who understands colour!
Step into the glamour of the roaring '20s with Art Deco, a style that exudes luxury and sophistication. Characterised by bold colours like blacks, golds, and greens, Art Deco makes a statement with geometric patterns and materials like brass, chrome, and marble. Think mirrored furniture, bold symmetrical designs, and exotic touches like lacquered finishes and inlaid wood.

Coloured leather. Beautiful and family friendly. A little more lux but not overwhelming. Are you in love?
Dining table inspiration – perfect for a 180cm rectangle table 😍
Back in 2019 Jake posted this and the question is still as relevant as ever. So we’re asking again:
Real Estate Agents and Home Stagers - How do you deal with the huge influx of work in Spring, particularly as you near capacity of what you can reasonably handle?
This is a question I’ve (Jake) seen come up in all real estate businesses (including home stagers).
You have loyal clients who you deal with regularly throughout the year to look after, as well as new business opportunities you don’t want to turn away. But there are limits to how much you can take on and still be happy with the quality of your work.
I’m interested in how others think about this (a good problem to have!).
A perfect image to show a balance of textures. It’s not just about colour and pattern—texture plays a big part in furniture selections as well 🩶🤍
Soft toys do have a place in styling. They don’t always have to be stored away!
Skylights and architecturally designed windows have to be my favourite features in a home. Can you see why?

Making “wow” a key part of your business plan is about aiming to surprise and delight in every interaction. The objective is to leave a lasting positive impression, so your clients remember the exceptional experience they had with you.
People might forget the specifics, such as the price or the details of a conversation, but they always remember how you made them feel. By consistently going above and beyond, you create memorable moments that distinguish your business and build lasting relationships.
Note this is a reminder to us, just as much as we believe it is great advice for you.
Jake’s key takeaways from 👇👇
🔑
Quote: “A streak starts with one. Don’t underestimate the power of one decision.”
Takeaway: This emphasises the importance of taking that first step towards a goal. Big visions start with a single action, and it’s crucial to keep moving forward one step at a time.
🔑
Quote: “Brand and expand.”
Takeaway: Focus on building and expanding your brand. Your brand is essentially your reputation, and continuously working on marketing and expanding into new opportunities can lead to significant growth. However, be cautious about the “fake it till you make it” approach; instead, always look for genuine opportunities to grow.
🔑
Quote: “The experience is what matters.”
Takeaway: It’s not just about the result but how you make people feel during the process. The client experience is crucial, and even if the outcome is successful, a poor experience can leave a negative impression.
🔑
Quote: “Keep the main thing the main thing.”
Takeaway: While it’s important to explore new opportunities, don’t lose focus on what you’re known for and what has brought you success. Maintain the quality and reputation of your core business.
🔑Ryan Serhant (again):
Quote: “How can I be better for everybody who works for us?”
Takeaway: Constantly seek ways to improve for the benefit of your team. This question should guide business owners in making decisions that enhance the working environment and overall efficiency.

Beaded Garlands are a regular in our styling. They are versatile and provide subtle visual interest without overpowering a styling spread!
There is a formula behind our dining table styling. One large 50cm+ vase with abundant greenery, salt and pepper grinders or a jug to provide a visual difference in height, plates and bowls with napkins, faux fruit, utensils or a tea towel, all grounded with a tray or chopping board. The most important part is the tray or chopping board, without it, it feels incomplete 🌱🏡
When styling a home with multiple bedrooms, we aim to style each bedroom with its own personality. The master bedroom aesthetic will generally match with the remainder of the property, but bedrooms 2, 3 and 4 are able to stand on their own. This is how we can capture the emotion for more buyers, rather than a singular entity 🏡💚
Lifestyle Styling. Whether it be a little bar spread, a kitchen teapot or a cooking moment, this styling helps to guide the eye through the property, allowing a buyer to focus on the best assets of a home 🏡💚
Integrated styling can sometimes mean working in and around the furry members of the family. This needs a considered approach as our insurance doesn’t cover damage from pets and they are also particularly drawn to the scent of the cleaning product in our rugs! It’s all about communication - most families understand and together we make it work! 🙌🏼🖤🏡
Imagine cooking in this kitchen! Our job is simple here. We are to subtly compliment the space as the finishes in this kitchen deserve all of the attention.
Reflections - a home with this level of finish was always going to be a pleasure to style! 💗
This has to be one of my favourite angles to shoot a coffee table. It’s all about perspective!
