The Australian First Nations Retreat + Development Program is currently open for submissions through our friends at Australian Plays Transform.

This program is for Australian First Nations playwrights (or writers who are looking to expand their practice into playwrighting) who have a new script idea they would like to spend some time working on intensively.

The retreat offers a 10 day opportunity to do this with the support of a cohort and onsite dramaturgs.

Post-disaster, melted cheeseburger in hand, , a disillusioned writer with a niche blog, is waiting to be seen in a hospital emergency room. Tied up in knots of likes and filters, ’s carefully curated online persona is about to spectacularly collide with the real world, culminating in a digital melt-down that breaks her tiny pocket of the internet permanently but may just be real enough to matter to the right people.

BLOOM GIRL is a unique stage-show about art, love and what it really means to be seen.
