FROM OUR FRIENDS 🌊

SWIM by Mununjali poet Ellen van Neerven is an achingly beautiful celebration of First Nations history, culture, and community, and how these things can keep us afloat in even the deepest of waters. This intimate production starring Dani Sib and Sandy Greenwood explores water sovereignty, gender fluidity, the colonial binary and much more by wading through calm waters and then plunging you in the deep end.

Griffin Theatre Company is proud to premiere this work on Gadigal Land at Carriageworks before it travels to Yugambeh Country (Gold Coast) for an exclusive season on Country at Bleach Festival from 1 to 3 August at Home of the Arts. Book your tickets now > bit.ly/SWIMBleach24

SWIM was developed in 2019 as part of QPAC’s Sparks program, facilitating pathway opportunities for First Nations artists in the performing arts. Learn more about Sparks now > atqp.ac/SparksProgram
