I had a pleasure of being an ambassador for Life Education for a few years. It’s a very driven and positive organisation that does such an important work of education and prevention. If you can, please support.

❓ What is our goal? To provide every Aussie child with the tools and education necessary to navigate the many health, relationship, alcohol and cyber issues they may face, allowing them to go on to lead full and happy lives.

❓How do we do that? Through the support of people like you, donating and being involved in events like Ocsober.

❓ How big a difference does it really make? Huge!

With the help of the $370,000 raised during Ocsober last year, our vital programs reached over 700,000 children across Australia. That’s a big number, so let us put it in context for you: if all of these children were to stand hand in hand, the line would stretch all the way from Melbourne to Adelaide! 👭👬👫

Many of the core issues children face today are in the cyber world. There have been growing concerns around the danger of the internet, and so we are committed to protecting kids from harm online. Last year alone, almost 80,000 children were taught to stay safe online by Life Education. It’s a great start, but with your help, we can reach even more.

These programs are only possible because people like you have stepped up to the Ocsober challenge. This year, we want to help even more Aussie kids stay safe online—and offline—with a goal to raise $470,000.

I am beyond excited to announce that I will be taking my years of professional athlete training and experience to inspire and develop a new generation of athletes in Brisbane.

This is a unique opportunity to learn from an experienced senior athlete. My development squad, TG Athletics, will focus on the following track and field events:

- Hurdles

I’m cutting out alcohol today for 31 days...
Hi,
Today is my first day of sobriety.
Because I have entered the 2015 Ocsober challenge and will be giving up alcohol this month to help Aussie kids!
I believe that every child deserves the chance to realise their true potential and follow their dreams.
And so I have committed to Lose the Booze throughout October to raise funds to help Life Education, a national children’s charity, deliver vital drug and health education programs to kids across Australia. These are programs that will help kids to make informed choices for a healthy life – free from drug and alcohol misuse.
My challenge starts TODAY and I am going sober for 31 days.

So wonderful to relive this moment again..
The greatest night of athletics.. I feel proud and privileged to be a part of this amazing display of dedication and courage.. Can't stress enough that all of this wouldn't be possible without continuous support of my family, friends, coaches, agents, doctors, phisios.. They were my rock in the difficult and challenging lead up to this meet and all the time through the qualifying and final. And for this I will be forever grateful... For all of the athletic fans who was there at the track on that spectacular night..U made this experience unforgettable... THANK YOU!...
