The olive tree is also known as the "tree of life" due to the numerous benefits of olive oil. Olives are in fact a fruit, which can’t be eaten directly off the tree
due to a bitter compound called oleuropein. The process of fermentation not only makes the olives more pleasurable to eat but also safe to consume.

Did you know how long the olive tree has been around? It dates back to 12,000 BC in Greece!!!

Today, the olive tree has continued to spread outside the Mediterranean and today is being farmed overseas where we mix them and turn them into the delicious packs you love.
