And Tomorrow, in Launceston - Monthly Ten-Pin Bowling is happening at Launceston Lanes from 6:00pm! This is always a fun night - just $19 for 3 games and a lot of laughs. Great to connect in with community and do something fun - Hope you can join us! :)

Some photos from our amazing pub lunch in Ulverstone yesterday! Was incredible to see so many of our local LGBTIQA+ community coming together to share a meal, have a chat and a laugh and connect with people, familiar and new!
Huge thanks to everyone who came along, it was great to see you all and hopefully we will see you all again soon!

Our next episode will be out on Friday - featuring Worthy who reflects on growing up in the United States, moving to Tasmania for work with a partner and talks very openly about their experiences with intimate partner violence and the community around them at that time.

Merry Christmas to all of our followers, friends and chosen family. We have had a huge year with 78 events across the North & North-West in 2023. We have had a few challenges this year, but we have had so much fun and met some amazing people.

I am very, very proud of the amazing group of volunteers who continue to create, plan and deliver these events across such a vast area of Tasmania. Their dedication to supporting and connecting with people is both heartwarming and inspiring - THANK YOU to the NORTH WEST PRIDE TEAM - You are all amazing! :)

For those interested, we have Christmas Day Lunches in both Launceston (Riverbend Park) and Ulverstone (Anzac Park). Then we will be back in 2024 continuing to create safe spaces, social events and activities for LGBTIAQ+ across the North, North-West and West Coast.

We hope you have a festive holiday season and a fabulous new year celebration and we will see you in 2024! 🥰🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️❤️

What an amazing day for the North West Pride Family Day in Launceston yesterday! About 165 sausages were cooked, (what felt like) 1,000 kites were made and Tarsha did not stop painting little faces!

Thanks so much to all the amazing community volunteers for your help, Playgroup Tasmania Inc for coming, Tarsha for painting the faces, Communities for Children - kanamaluka for the funding and to everyone that came along for the fun. It was a great day!

We had a beautiful day today at our BBQ lunch in Latrobe. The weather was great, we had over 40 folks and their families come along, some new faces. Was so busy chatting, didn't get a lot of photos - But here are a few from today. Thanks to everyone who came along and made it such a fun day! So good to meet some new folks and catch up with some regulars. :) See you at the next one! :)

Thanks to some grant funding from Communities for Children - kanamaluka we have purchased resources for upcoming family events in the North!

Our friends and supporters at Red Parka were kind enough to donate an additional set of these beautiful picture books. We'll be keeping a set for North West Pride to use at our family events, and will be giving another set away at a sensory friendly and fun family day we are planning in Launceston for when the weather warms up in November.
