Just over 2 years ago I started AC Beauty Bar. We have grown, evolved and really gone on a wild, beautiful journey.
A rebrand has been something I have wanted to do for awhile now and when I came across Sarah I knew it was time.

& then 𝑩𝑨𝑹𝑬 𝑯𝑨𝑼𝑺 𝑩𝑬𝑨𝑼𝑻𝒀 was born. This rebrand is really special to me. I finally feel like I have found myself and my place in this beauty world. It is so easy to go with the trends and follow along with what everyone else is doing - however in my meeting with Sarah I knew I wanted the rebrand to represent me both professionally and personally.

“Neutral & safe with a side of funky, retro vibe” and I think we nailed it.

~ Sarah has been a literal angel. I couldn’t have worked with anyone better to bring my vision to life. I had so much fun brainstorming and bouncing ideas off each other. THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart. 🤎~

My mission is to give my clients the ability to love, embrace and flaunt the natural beauty each and every one of them have. All while being in a cosy, comfortable environment that feels like home as soon as you walk through the door.

Some important tips for before and after your brow appointment ✨

✔️ HYDRATE. HYDRATE. HYDRATE 💦 with castor oil, coconut oil or conditioner.

❌ Do NOT get your brows wet for 24 - 48hrs after treatment.

✔️ Brush the brow hairs upwards when went to help train them, as well as setting them with a brow wax, gel or whichever styling product you prefer.
When removing product from the brows, do NOT rub them. This can cause hair loss and we don’t want that. Be gentle with your brows ☺️

❌ Avoiding retinol and exfoliating products 3 days minimum (a week is safer strong active ingredients like retinol) before ANY brow appointment is super important. As waxing is a form of exfoliating, using those products too close to waxing can cause an over exfoliation and can cause reactions on the skin.

𝐍𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐡 𝐛𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐬 🧚🏼

⏳ Lamination lasts 6-8 weeks.

✨ Important: if you have previously had a lamination and you think your brows are still a little laminated, please message me with a photo at least 48 hours prior to your appointment. This will ensure that we can still do another lami without damaging your brows. I recommend leaving a 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗺 𝟴 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗻 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗼𝗶𝗻𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀. ✨

Having maintenance appointments in between can keep your brows looking perfect while you wait for your next lamination.

Brow lamination is made up of 3 steps.

This is step 2. The conditioning agents keep the hair soft and silky. The hairs will be brushed up so the solution can set the eyebrow hairs into your desired shape. Step 2 also restores the natural pH of the hairs and closes the hair cuticles, ready for step 3. 👏🏼

I always get asked what the difference is between Tint & Dye. They are very different (& dye is my favourite 🙊)

Tint is softer, whereas Dye is a longer lasting stain that can create a more defined brow 🤎

𝐇𝐎𝐖 𝐆𝐎𝐎𝐃 𝐀𝐑𝐄 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐒𝐇 𝐁𝐑𝐎𝐖𝐒? 😮‍💨😴

𝙎𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚: 𝘽𝙧𝙤𝙬 𝙎𝙘𝙪𝙡𝙥𝙩 & 𝘿𝙮𝙚 ☁️

Brow dye is the longest lasting skin AND hair stainer on the market, suitable for all skin & hair types. Lasting anywhere from 3 - 10 days on the skin and up to 7 weeks on the hair.

Super important to keep your brows dry and avoid scrubbing to ensure you get the most out of your beautiful brows.

✨ Does it hurt?
Not at all. It is completely pain free. We use light strokes to remove the dead skin cells and peach fuzz.

✨ Will your hair grow back thicker or darker?
No. Your hair will grow back exactly the same thickness and colour it was before.

✨ Are there risks of cutting your face?
Absolutely, I use a surgical blade. I am always so careful and cautious at ALL times but accidents can happen and you may be left with a tiny nick. Very TINY and there is absolutely no cause for concern.

✨ Is it the same as shaving your face at home with a razor?
No, the surgical blade we use is much finer and is able to remove the outermost layer of the skin. It is more thorough and effective.

✨ Is it suitable for anyone?
Almost anyone, except those with active acne or highly reactive / sensitive skin.

✨ How often should you have the treatment?
When having any deep exfoliation treatment, it is recommended to leave 4 weeks between treatments.

Double Cleansing is when you cleanse the skin twice - first with an oil-based cleanser, then with a water-based cleanser.

The Dermalogica Double Cleanse - aka the secret to healthy, ultra-clean skin easily removes layers of built-up make-up, products and oily debris. This allows your prescribed Dermalogica Cleanser to pe*****te even further for a professional level of clean.

At the end of each day, you’re left with excess sebum, make-up, pollutants and grime that give your skin a dull, congested apearance and prevent your skin care from doing its best work.

Double cleansing is super important because whether or not you wash your face day and night, you might be surprised at what's left on your skin after a single cleanse.

Note: cleansing twice with the same cleanser won't do the trick, either will using just a makeup wipe. They are not enough to pe*****te those layers of debris.

Such a popular question! The brow lamination process includes 2 chemical solutions & a regenerating cream. As it is a chemical process - hydrating the brows is most important after a lami!!! 💦
