Browny 250th
As a club we couldn’t be prouder to announce that Luke Brown or “Browny” as we know him will be playing his 250th game at the Rams this Saturday at home against Ringwood. Come on down and join in the celebrations and cheer on the boys.

With no football this weekend and many people travelling , it is a good time to remind everyone of the TAC campaign to reduce the road toll in Victoria.This year the campaign concentrates on the impact of drowsy drivers. While not always deliberate behaviour, driving when tired is a contributing factor in between 16-20% of all road crashes in Victoria. Even brief lapses in concentration can have serious consequences. New research from Monash University has found: The risk of crashing after 5 hours of sleep was 4.4 times compared to 8 hours of sleep. The risk at least doubles as we move to lower levels of sleep (under 5 hours). It’s important to consider how much sleep you’ve had before you get behind the wheel, and always watch for the warning signs.

Enjoy the highlights of the Under 19's impressive win over Lilydale over the weekend. After a slow start by the Rams, a four goal 3rd Quarter proved decisive as they ran out 13 point winners. With many people travelling over the long weekend it is a good time to remind everyone of the need to stay safe on our roads. This year the TAC are running a campaign about the impact of fatigue on drivers. Before you drive, make sure you: • Get a good night’s sleep. • Avoid driving at times you’re normally sleeping. • Understand the effects any medicine you're taking might have on your driving. • Take regular breaks – at least every two hours. • Know and look for the warning signs of fatigue. • When possible, arrange to share the driving. • When you know you’re fatigued, avoid driving altogether. Take a taxi, public transport or rely on another driver.
