🌊🏊♂️ **Busy Weekend for Busselton Masters Swimmers!** 🏊♀️🌊
This weekend was jam-packed for the Busselton Masters swimmers! Thanks to the generous sponsorship from Healthways and Busselton Water, we had an amazing stroke clinic led by Andrew Sexton. On Sunday morning, 8 dedicated masters swimmers had their strokes assessed by video, followed by an intensive follow-up session focused on improving our technique.
Huge thanks to Andrew Sexton for his expertise and to everyone who participated. It was a fantastic opportunity to learn and improve our swimming skills. Looking forward to seeing everyone apply these new techniques in the water! 🏊♀️💪
🌊🐾 Adventure of a Lifetime: Busselton Locals Meet a Friendly Seal in Champion Bay! 🐾🌊
Steve and Tanya's incredible journey kicked off with an unforgettable encounter at Champion Bay in Geraldton. A group of Busselton locals, diving headfirst into their adventure of a lifetime, had a close-up meeting with the cutest, most playful seal! 🦭💙
A huge shoutout to the amazing NKNC Open Water Swimmers Group for taking them under their wing and making this adventure possible. We can't thank you enough for their support and guidance. Just like me, they forgot to warn us about the surprise seal visitor! 😂🐾

🌊🏊♂️ What an exhilarating day at the Busselton Masters! Today, we tackled the wild water conditions at Yallingup Lagoon. It’s not often we see waves rolling through the lagoon, but we embraced the challenge and had an absolute blast. The water was warm, and with the temperature at 19°C, it was perfect for our adventure. Everyone was smiling and enjoying the unique experience. Lots of fun and fantastic memories! 🌞
A big thank you to Maureen and Colin for the lovely morning tea afterwards. It was the perfect way to wrap up our exciting morning! 🍰☕

We had an amazing time at the Busselton Masters Swimming Club Stroke Correction Clinic with Andrew Sexton today! The two-hour session was fantastic and incredibly helpful. We all experienced masses of improvement. Huge thanks to Sharon for organizing everything and to Julie for filming. Feeling more confident and powerful in the water already! 🏊♂️✨

🌊🏊♂️ On this winter solstice, the shortest day of the year, 14 brave members of the Busselton Masters Swimming Club took on the elements at King Street! Despite the 15.5°C water, howling north wind, and large crashing waves, our resilient swimmers made it through. The swim wasn't long, but the experience was unforgettable. Kudos to everyone who participated! 🏊♀️💪

Get ready to embrace the solstice spirit with the Busselton Masters this Friday, June 21st at 5 PM, as we host our Annual Solstice Swim from the King Street! 🏊♂️🏊♀️
Enjoy a 'relatively' warm ocean before winter truly sets in and celebrate the solstice with fellow swimmers. Whether you’re a seasoned swimmer or just in for some fun, swimming distances are optional!

Location: Meet at the King Street Car Park near the pine tree
Location Drinks: After the swim, we'll gather for drinks at the Geographe Bay Yacht Club, continuing our cherished Friday evening tradition. 🍻

☀️🚴♂️ The Busselton Masters Swimming Club riders were out and about this morning, soaking up the Winter Sun! They pedaled their way through a fantastic 30 kilometers and had an absolute blast. Here's a snapshot of the group - although Lesley is missing in the photo, she was definitely there sharing in the fun! Great job, everyone! 🚴♀️🌞

🏊♀️🎳🍕 What a day out for the Busselton Masters! 🍕🎳🏊♂️
Kicking off with a splash, 9 swimmers powered through a solid 2km set at the Bunbury 50m pool, gearing up for the ultimate showdown: Pins & Pizza! Coach Steve made sure our shoulders were warmed up - can't risk any pizza-eating injuries, right? ☕️
Then it was time to hit the lanes, with 30 eager participants battling it out for bowling glory. From strikes to gutter balls, the skill levels were off the charts! 🎳 And let's not forget the well-deserved pit stop for a caffeine boost!
After all that action, it was pizza time at Last Slice Pizza in Dayellup. 🍕 And boy, did we devour those slices like champions! 🏆

What a fantastic day we had at our annual Golf Day! Here are some of the highlights:
🌟 In the Mini Golf,Tanya took home the Perpetual & Individual Trophy plus a Freeloader Pass for a free round donated by the Par 3. Congratulations, Tanya! 🏆🎉
🍫 Sue was awarded a chocolate golf ball for a stunning hole-in-one! What an amazing shot! 👏
🏅 Mon won the BMSC Best Golfer Trophy for getting the best value out of her entry fee. Way to go, Mon! 💪
🏆 In the Maxi Golf, Peter & Darren took home the Perpetual & Individual Trophies plus a Freeloader Pass each for a free round donated by the Par 3. Great job, guys! 🎉

📢 Exciting News from Busselton Masters Swimming Club! 🏊♂️🏊♀️
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to for their generous grant, which has been instrumental in supporting our Stroke Correction Clinics. 🌊💧
This Busselton Masters Swimming Club starter programme will initially be 2 x 2 hours on Sundays this winter. The dates are confirmed - June 30th, 2-4 pm, and July 7th, 2-4 pm, at the indoor pool GLC. 🗓️
Keep an eye out in the upcoming June Newsletter for your exclusive opportunity to participate in these Clinics. They are limited to just 8 members per session, ensuring each participant receives personalised attention to get the most out of the session. 📬✨
Your swimming stroke will be filmed before and after the session to see what changes you have made. You will be provided with individualised feedback and guidance to enhance your learning experience. 📹🏊♂️💡
Andrew Sexton will be on hand at these sessions, ready to support and guide you. 🤝
We swim in and drink , and we live and play locally. Our initiative is focused on the water we love, as we cannot do what we do without it—swim and drink it! 🌊❤️

The Busselton Masters Swimming Club kicked off its first pool swim of the winter season with Coach Andrew Sexton leading the way this Saturday! 🌊 It was an amazing session filled with great energy and enthusiasm from everyone involved.
After our refreshing swim, we gathered for a well-deserved cuppa at the Par 3 golf course in Busselton, where we continued to bond and share stories. 🍵⛳
A big thank you to Coach Andrew for his guidance and motivation, and to all our members for making it such a fantastic start to the season. Can't wait for more swims and camaraderie ahead! 🌟
