I have been speaking to so many people who are struggling at the moment and honestly 🙋🏻‍♀️ so are we.
Interest rates are going up and by the sounds of it are going to keep going up, the cost of living is through the roof, a average food shop for us is $350ish a WEEK!! It’s crazy! Business is a little slower then normal which is completely fine but it all just adds to the pressure of life. So I thought if we all share our little tips and tricks for saving a few $ here and there it might help someone else and lighten their load just a little. It’s also a good way to show you aren’t alone, we are all here and all feeling the same pinch.

The up side of this is that everyone single box is made to order and goes through my strict quality control (also know me as Kendra’s OCD and sometimes unrealistic expectations) to ensure that each one is perfect before it heads out our doors 👌.

So we are 3 weeks into the new school year now so how is everyone settling in?

As most of you would know that Mason started Kindy this year so along with his name tracing board I have made him the Alphabet and number tracing boards just to assist with building his confidence and number/ letter recognition.
I also loved the idea of a clock face to help with learning to tell the time 🕰.
Whilst he is still a little young for this one the bigger kids have enjoyed using it.

I get so excited when we get asked to make new things! We have so many ideas but sometimes it’s just waiting for someone to ask before we make them. And I know you would think having a daughter we would of made her a pretty bow holder already but nope, Indiana isn’t into fancy bows and clips she is more of a scrunchy girl, like me 😊.

I might be slightly bias but how beautiful is she 😍 My big girl starts Yr 3, Jaxon Yr 2, Mason Kindy and Harrison acts like he belongs at clown school 🤡 😅. They are all getting so big!

Fun fact we are at a new school this year and it’s the same school I went to many many years ago!

Tell me what year are your babies going into this year?

School is back in just over a week! Who is excited? We have been of since December 6th and let me tell you the kids are SO ready to go back to school!

Mason starts Kindy this year so I made him a new trace his name board, he loves doing this and it helps build his confidence and name recognition 🤩

In a world that seems to be going somewhat crazy at the moment I think sometimes we all need to take a step back take a breath and remember what is truely important.

Please note I don’t want to discuss the rights and wrongs of what is going on, everyone is entitled to their own opinions and choose what is right for them and their family, it’s simply a reminder to take a step back and breath and focus on what is important.

This little beaut was a custom order for Christmas.

Who knows what day of the week it is? The blissful feeling of not having to be anywhere or not having to do anything 👌

What a year we have had! Our little biz has come so far in the last 12mths and we couldn’t of done it without the love and support of you all, so from the bottom of our hearts Thank you!

We made lots of beautiful gifts this year which I haven’t shared in fear of ruining someone’s surprise so if you have a piece we have made make sure you share and give us a tag 😉

For us we are going to spend some much needed family time over the next few weeks but we will be back with some big ideas for 2022!

Whilst most schools finish up this week our school has been on holidays since last week! Not going to lie, trying to juggle all four kids, my day job and get all our orders out in time has been a mission! But all posted orders have been sent and all pick up orders will be ready to go by this weekend! 🥳 leaving us a week left of work before we get the Christmas New Years off to enjoy with the Kids!

Well it’s definitely starting to feel like Christmas around here, and we are the Elf’s busily making all your orders!

So many of you want to get your hands on our Christmas tic tac toe! I will add these to the website over the weekend and they will be available from Monday!

Some husbands get their wife flowers or chocolates…not mine he makes me a pen out of a chunk of wood 😅 he even finished it with rose gold look finishes because he knows that’s my favourite 🥰

Did you know we can make stamps?! We are looking at extending our range next year to include stamps! Personalised stamps, teacher stamps, business stamps you get the idea 🙂.

Sometimes it’s Important to take time out for your self and do something that makes you happy!

I guess this post is a bit of a appreciation post for how hard Dane works, he works his day job 5-6 days a week doesn’t get home until 6pm every day, he then helps me with dinner and the kids and then he is back into it, working for (his words 😅) he helps me with the orders, new designs, teaches me how to make/do new things, he spends hours in the shed building box’s and beer caddy’s ect. he really does work his butt off to help us build our dream and I could not do it without him!
But every Thursday he takes time out to go and do something he enjoys and for him that is a woodworking group where he gets to make new things and try new stuff.
