Every year, Piccones have the absolute pleasure of awarding the "Platinum Award" to an outstanding student from Hambledon State Primary School. This year, the award was presented to Bailey Miller.

Bailey is one of Hambledon's current School Leaders and an active citizen in the community. In addition to her leadership responsibilities, she has participated in and worked to support all of the Student Council’s charity dress-up days this year, as well as the student councils’ bench seating beautification project. Bailey was the top contributor to the Mission Australia and Hambledon House Food Drive and even created a video to encourage other students to get behind the initiative.

Bailey is active in a variety of sports, competing in the school cross country and athletics carnivals and making it through to TCS for representative sport. She is also an extremely passionate dancer, excelling at a competitive level.

Bailey is also a regular and reliable helper for younger students, assisting the Leadership Team with welcoming our 2024 Prep families and being a buddy reader through the before-school junior reading program. She also regularly supported the Year 2 lunchtime soccer program. I’m sure you will agree, Bailey is a very active citizen and a worthy recipient of this award!
