The moxa sits above the skin and slowly burns down without directly contacting the skin. Hideshi is a Japanese acupuncturist, moxicauterist and shiatsu practitioner. He attended one of Japan’s progressive and leading eastern medicine colleges in Tokyo. He has conducted shiatsu massage workshops in Japan, and collaborated on acupuncture and moxibustion seminars in Sydney over the past 20 years.

During these unprecedented times, the health and safety of our clients and community is extremely important.

Hideshi Takesako is a registered member of APHRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency), and his practice is considered an essential service to the community thus enabling the clinic to remain open.

We would like to assure you that Hideshi Acupuncture is still operating with additional hygiene protocols in place.

- As patients come for treatment they will be reviewed for any symptoms relating to COVID-19 and advised to seek medical advice accordingly.

- Adhering to social distancing a maximum of one patient per visit and increased time gaps between patients will be followed. The time gap will allow for sanitization between patients.

- Common areas such as the waiting room and bathroom, frequently touched objects such as door handles and EFTPOS machines are consistently cleaned.

- All treatment couches and pillows are being changed after each patient.

- Multiple Hand sanitisers have been dispersed within the premises.

- Face masks are worn by the practitioner during treatment and gloves can be worn if requested.
