Merry Christmas from Oasis at Palm Cove 🎄
It’s been a challenging couple of weeks in our beautiful FNQ and the recent flooding has impacted many in our community.
Our thoughts are with those still with challenges ahead of them.
It’s been heartwarming to see our community come together and support and help those in need ♥️
Stay safe these holidays and we wish you and yours a Merry Christmas and a safe and happy new year 🎄🌴☀️♥️

While our beautiful paradise is in a devastating state at the moment, we are resilient and positive.
Our community is working tirelessly to restore our idyllic, happy, peaceful sanctuary ☀️🌴
While there will be some challenges to open for some businesses , we are open and looking forward to our guests over the holidays.
FNQ tourism needs your support so don’t hesitate to get on the phone and book your next getaway ♥️

Phew!!
Cyclone Jasper has passed and all is well at the resort!
Nothing broken, only fronds and leaf matter.
Now the clean up starts; sails back up, pool furniture put back in place and once the rain abates, a thorough gardens and grounds tidy up.
We were very lucky as the power remained on, some 40000 lost their power closer to Cairns.
Downside to these events, we lost some guest bookings as one would imagine, hopefully still a good Christmas and January to look forward to.

Brief update on where we’re at with cyclone Jasper’s imminent landfall.
We are looking at possible wild weather around 4am so we have prepared accordingly.

• All balcony chairs have been brought inside the apartments; tables hard against the wall
• Pool and playground sails have come down.
• Pool furniture secured and pool gates locked
• Arborist completed tree works only a couple of weeks ago, mitigating potential damage
• Manager's house has a generator for anticipated power outages.

We look forward to welcoming our guests back to paradise very soon.
