Super proud of our youngest son Knox shooting his first fish unassisted yesterday!! It may not be the tastiest fish for us but the dogs definitely enjoyed it! Got to take the brand new wetsuits for a spin as well as test out a new little weapon that will be put into production ASAP! This little 85 Roller packs a punch and is extremely well ballasted and balanced! Even the smallest 70cm roller with ceramic bearings, 50m reel and full stainless mechanism floats horizontal on the surface without a shaft.

Wahoo Wednesday!! A lot can be said about a divers ability shooting good quality fish out of a trailer boat in local waters…. Some divers will spend countless hours searching and seeking out the highest quality fish they can in local waters or explore new areas that are unknown and some will choose to spend countless $$$ on charters where a local guide has done all the hard work and will put you onto the fish with little effort, experience or ability required. Extremely proud of the Aimrite crew and my Team here at the workshop for putting in the hard yards and getting it done recently! At the end of the day we should be spearfishing for the passion of it and to satisfy our heart and provide food for our families and not to satisfy our egos.

Mega proud Dad (and Mum) today!! After years of building up his skills and ability to eventually shoot his dream fish shot and landed his first Spanish Mackerel today and did so completely unassisted. Then to top it off I found a rock in 22m loaded with Small Mouth Nannygai and quickly realised these fish were siting up high and that Hunter could potentially shoot one. I threw some burley in and 2 fish came up within Hunters depth range and after a solid dive he managed to shoot the biggest one and land it himself. Even the two Bullsharks circling on the bottom couldn’t deter this kid!! For a kid who just turned 9 you’ve certainly worked hard for this day and I don’t know any other 9 year olds shooting fish of this caliber! So proud of you!

Congratulations that’s a fish of a lifetime!!!
