If you are in Cairns during the wet season, between December to March, don’t stop visiting to the Barron Gorge Falls!

This is the best time of the year to see one of the largest falls in Far North Queensland in flood, a 250-meter waterfall, which average yearly flow is about 30 cubic meters per second.

TIP: One of the best places where to see this megalithic waterfall is via a gorge viewpoint known as “Barron Falls lookout”, either self-drive or through the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway this is a must stop.

We are looking for a Kitchen Hand for our busy Balinese Restaurant in Cairns.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to work in an award winning restaurant, in a fast paced environment and should be capable of multi tasking as well as working in a team or on their own.

Casual basis: 3-4 days per week, evening shift.

Bayleaf restaurant will reopen for dine-in customers from tomorrow, Thursday, 12th August, with our usual trading hours:

Lunch: 12.00 pm - 2.00 pm (Tuesday to Friday)
Dinner: 6.00 pm - 9.00 pm (daily)

For today, Wednesday, 11th August, we will still do Take-away orders and Room Service only, as we get ready for our reopening tomorrow.

Our Breakfast dine-in service will be available on weekends only, 7.00 am - 9.00 am (Sat - Sun), until further notice. Our hotel guest can continue enjoy their Room service breakfast daily!
