The Cairns Show Ambassador Awards night was held at the Bungalow Hotel. It was a great evening of celebration and recognition. Congratulations to all involved on a well presented event.

Finished off Cannes in Cairns with the Croc Awards followed by the RFDS Charity Dinner.

After many hours of sleep😂😂😂back at the Convention Centre on Sunday for the last day of the conference.

Last minute setup for Queensland Symphony Orchestra at Rex Smeal Park in Port Douglas.

The evening included music by Beethoven with a bit of rain for effect! The orchestra conducted by Umberto Clerici. Thanks Tony for your hard work.

A few full days of keynotes including where AI is at and how it will affect running a business. It's going to be a different world we live in.

JCU graduation with a two camera set up for an IMAG and record.

Second last gig for 2022 at the Glade in Port Douglas.

Just for something different to round out 2022, setting up for pig heart surgery with one camera record and stream.

Another Savannah in the Round marathon completed with three days of great country music from local, national and international artists. Way too many cameras to talk about, all projected to two side screens in the 9:16 format. Another challenge with framing and lots of concentration (7 hours continuous each day) with live coverage.

An exhibition completed at the Cairns Convention Centre.
This time we had one roving camcorder move between two rooms conducting interviews/vox pops with the exhibitors.
Images were projected to three large screens.
The challenge was to not lose video signal (from the camera link) through the concrete & steel walls with a room full of guests.
The video signal turned out rock solid with no reports of breakup. Winning!

After decades of neglect my skin is now glowing as a result of filming this conference in Port Douglas😀. I didn't realise skin can be so complicated.

Two camera setup, both ISO recording. Then went into post production for 20 separate keynote clips and finishing off with a highlights video.
The conference had no lectern so each presenter paced the stage. After 2 days of panning I developed whiplash.

Clocked up a few klicks these last few days with a trip out to Forsayth, then back to repack the gear for a drive up to Hope Vale for the Bronc and Bull ride.

Another Bull ride event done and dusted. This time at Mt. Carbine. One camera with slomo relays to the big screen.

The very first Cairns Italian Festival went off with a bang. We were there to provide images on the stage screen and record promo footage. 12 hours of non stop stage coverage with 2 bands, a fashion parade, a comedy act, a cooking presentation and an Opera. Oh yes there was a laser show with the biggest fireworks Cairns has ever seen.🇮🇹 Great to see my culture is alive and well recognising our Italian migrants who developed North Queensland.

The Cairns Show was a bit on the cold side this year. Don't want too many of those temps.
