Bush Blend Candle Co.
Mantelpiece worthy
We're taking a little break before the festive season kicks into gear so our studio will be out of action between 4 September 2024 - 14 October 2024. All orders placed between these dates will be shipped upon reopening!
Side note: We know it's only early September, but we've been in festive planning mode already and can't wait to show you what we have been working on...
We're heading into the weekend with a fragrance worth talking about! Let us reintroduce you to Kakadu, inspired by the native 'superfood', Kakadu plum.
What is Kakadu plum? It's a green-yellowish, egg shaped fruit that grows on trees in northern Australia. It's also an important food/medicinal resource for First Nations people and is considered a gift of the Dreamtime. Packed with stacks of antioxidants, heaps more vitamin C than oranges and a list of other benefits, Kakadu plum is a nutrient rich powerhouse.
From a culinary perspective, the fruit has a citrus/bitter/ sweet flavour which has been replicated in the scent notes of our Kakadu candle. Herbaceous notes of bush cucumber balance the citrus out nicely and give the fragrance a unique earthy twist.
This candle is ideal for citrus-lovers or for those looking for a summery scent to burn during the colder months

We’re not joking when we say our Australian Bush candle literally smells like a walk through the bush after the rain.

Three clever candles for those looking for something new and exciting to freshen up their homes (everyone)
Inhale the Wimmera and you’ll automatically exhale deep thoughts.
Enriched with timeless sandalwood, this sophisticated candle encourages you to put your feet up and ponder a few of life’s unanswerable questions… Which came first, the chicken or the egg? In Titanic, could Jack have made it onto the floating door? Does pineapple realllly belong on pizza?
Rhubarb may not be the coolest vegetable going around. It might not even be the 3rd coolest vegetable going around. However, put it in a crumble-inspired candle and you’ve got yourself winter in a jar (can’t get any cooler than that!) 🥧
ANZAC Day in 2024 marks 109 years since Australian and New Zealand troops landed at Anzac Cove in Gallipoli.
Today we remember the brave service people who served in the First World War and all those who served after them in defence of our wonderful country. Lest we forget.

When the Top End candle is aflame there’s a smokey ashiness at the front end and a slight floral kick in the back.
It’s the kind of fragrance that transports you to an old homestead in the NT. We’re hooked.
It’s fun to burn the Peninsula candle while imagining that you’re admiring the picket fence around the rose garden of a multimillion dollar mansion (think Portsea or Darling Point). This fancy fragrance embodies lots of florals and a sprinkle of cedar to round out the flower power.
Although the fragrance could fill a room with its eyes closed, it doesn’t punch you in the nose like some floral fragrances (we’re looking at you toilet spray!).
