The rain keeps coming! Another 20mm over the weekend added to the 26mm received last week. At this time of year it takes some time to dry out, but at least the warmer weather is boosting some growth, and everything is looking greener each day.

Four years on from the West Wyalong Services and Citizens’ Sports Club's reconstruction of the 100 year old golf course, and the TifTuf greens and tees are looking great, even as Winter frosts start to hit.
The two stage works in March 2020, and then in April 2021, saw 18 new greens and tees as well as the practice green being planted out in TifTuf which has provided the Club with a hardy, drought tolerant option, both environmentally sustainable and cost effective for the Club.

Your warm season grasses are entering dormancy as the weather cools down and there are some care practices you should avoid during this period.

We are back on farm after a great learning experience on some of the best sporting arenas in the UK, known across the World.

Turf study tour ended last weekend and today we head home, but not before we inspected the Royal lawns at Windsor Castle.
The lawns are definitely fit for a King (who was home while we were there).

On the afternoon before we headed off on our UK turf tour we took delivery of a new Loadmac truck mounted forklift.
Today on the day before we head home we have been lucky enough to have a private tour around the factory where our machine was made.

Thursday afternoon and it’s soccer (football) at the home field of Manchester United. Just being renovated in the “summer” season.

JCB were the first to manufacture the backhoe - a great morning in the factory today seeing a variety of the JCB range of machinery being assembled.
