In 2022 Mick was awarded the Geotechnical Practitioner of the Year for his excellence in the field of rock mechanics and ongoing dedication to the industry.

⭐This prestigious award was nominated and voted by his peer group.

This year Mick actually received the award and got to honour the team of people who supported his vision.

A huge congratulations to Mick and the Geotechnicoal Team. Next stop Vegas - I mean, the International Conference on Ground Control Mining in the US.

A fabulous session to round out 2023 with the Geotechnicoal Team and Judy from Shiift Pty Ltd. This was the ultimate blend of learning and laughter.
