Two decades of research has revealed links between foods and illness (food intolerance). Learn more with our free ebook.
Scientists now confirm - toxins in common foods put us at risk of illness like heart disease, dementia, obesity and cancers. Food intolerance is sneaky and masquerades as long term symptoms like bloating, irritable bowel, headaches, arthritis or depression. However - this is a slippery slope to chronic disease: cardiovascular disease, cancers, dementia, diabetes and others. Learn how to prevent d

Eggs, anyone? đł
Back in the 70s, eggs got a bad rap for being linked to high cholesterol, and in the 80s, salmonella concerns emerged. But things changed in 1999 when a study in JAMA, a leading medical journal, found no link between egg consumption and cardiovascular disease riskâexcept possibly in people with type 2 diabetes.
Nowadays, we know better. CSIRO research shows that eggs can be enjoyed daily. Clinical trials and a survey of over 84,000 Australians found that those who ate more eggs had better overall diets and health.
Plus, eggs are a low-toxin food, so you can enjoy them as often as you like! đ„

Government advisory still recommends foods linked to serious disease as âhealthyâ. Deborah Manners
Government advisory still recommends foods linked to serious disease as âhealthyâ. â foodintolÂź LoTox Consumers sleepwalking into incurable disease due to outdated nutrition advice.
Diagnosis doesn't answer ... 'why?'
Dealing with disease can turn lives and families upside down in an instant. "He's been knocked sideways"⊠"She never saw that coming"⊠"I'm not sure how they will manage without his income."
We often take a doctorâs diagnosis as final and unquestionable, but are we sure it is the right way to tackle sickness? Disease arrives with urgency and becomes your new reality overnightâwhether it's non-Hodgkinâs lymphoma, autism, stroke, or Lou Gehrig's (motor neurone) disease.
Yet, despite the profound impact, no oneânot doctors, nurses, or medical expertsâcan definitively explain why it has appeared. Chronic disease locks us into its cycle of medications, routines, pain, procedures, appointments, disabilities, expenses, and inconvenience.
It's time to question whether medicineâs current approach truly serves us. đ€

Love bacon? So do we! đ„
While bacon is a medium-toxin food, it offers some benefits like being a great protein source and adding incredible flavour to dishes. However, itâs also high in fat and salty due to the curing process. Thatâs why itâs best to limit your servings to just three per week. Enjoy in moderation!

In this video, Deb delves into why sickness seems to be everywhere these days. She talks about how the human diet has shifted from vegetables and protein, (fish, meat, eggs) - to things that are much less digestible and loaded with toxins.
She explains wheat as 'starvation fare' because it can be stored for a long time. Also "convenience foods" we all love â grains, dairy, processed foods, salt and lots of sugar â that can leave us feeling less than great. Tune in as Deb breaks it all down for us!

As they age, many Baby Boomers are witnessing their parents struggle with chronic ailments labelled 'incurable' and attributed to old age. This generation has become caregivers, seeing their parentsâand themselvesâdeal with health issues like high blood pressure, joint pain, and memory loss, often made worse by a cocktail of medications that aren't actually curing but merely delaying the inevitable.
Despite all the research, technology, and money poured into medical research, nobody can say exactly why diseases happen. And cures remain elusive. It just doesn't add up. Why are we so sick? Learn more with book and video 'Unravelling the Mystery of Disease'.
The answer lies in our food and the toxins it contains. Here at the Food Intolerance Institute, we're committed to showing you that relying on medications alone isn't the solutionâavoiding food toxins is key! Learn more at https://www.foodintollotox.com/videos-foodintol
Sauces and condiments can be minefields if youâre trying to avoid food toxins. Despite the small amount you might add to your burger or chips, condiments are concentrated substances, so toxins are substantial.
Make sure to read all ingredients on the label and choose carefully. Mayonnaise free of dairy, gluten, paprika or chilli are great, as well as pickles, aged balsamic vinegar and good quality olive oil are excellent options.

When it comes to high-toxin foods like pasta versus low-toxin options like zucchini noodles (zoodles!), it's a no-brainer. đ„
We all love a big bowl of pasta, but the bloated belly, headaches, and skin problems that come with it? Not so much. Let's be real â the sauce is what makes pasta dishes awesome, so why not swap the pasta for something that makes you feel good too: zoodles!
Zucchini is low in toxins, gluten-free, and packed with nutrients your body will love. This means you can chow down without worrying about the nasty side effects. Give zoodles a try for a healthier, more satisfying twist on your favourite pasta dishes!

While pork is usually pretty low in toxins, it's a good idea to go easy on processed and cured cold cuts like prosciutto. But that doesn't mean you have to give it up completely!
Prosciutto falls into the medium toxin category, so we suggest sticking to no more than three servings a week.
Mashed potatoes are a tried and true staple, but potatoes are a nightshade vegetable, meaning they contain the toxin alkaloid. Alkaloids affect your digestion and nervous system, which can increase anxiety, restlessness, and muscle twitching.
But you don't have to give up your beloved mash - instead, try our Paleo Mash recipe which uses sweet potatoes! Unlike regular potatoes, this sweet variety is low toxin so you can enjoy as much as you want! đ

In this video, Deb dives a bit deeper into how the toxins in certain foods, such as gluten and caseins (milk products), have been linked to 'incurable' diseases like dementia, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, and more. But interestingly, when patients removed these toxins from their diets, their disease markers improved tremendously.

Let's talk about "incurability" - when doctors deem a condition untreatable. But what does it really mean?
In reality, it means medicine can't fix the disease. But what if "incurability" is just a convenient and made-up label designed to shift blame? When patients find themselves on a dead-end path with no solutions in sight, labelling their condition as "incurable" conveniently frees medicine of responsibility.
Blaming the disease itself allows medicine to wash its hands of any obligation to heal while it keeps its authority. Sadly, this often results in the hijacking of patients' lives where it seems like the prestige of the medical method matters more than the patient.
We think it's time to call out this "incurable" excuse for what it is: a cover-up for a broken system. It's time to question the status quo and prioritise patient well-being over preserving medical authority.
Pickles are a wonderful cut-through in flavour and texture for meals with cold-cuts or fish. đ„
Not only are they a low-toxin food - so you can eat them freely đ - but they are bursting with probiotics for good gut health and digestion.
But here's a tip: always check the label and steer clear of preservatives and chemical additives. Keep it clean, keep it crunchy! đ
'Nightshades' might sound like a potion ingredient, but they're actually just your everyday vegetables and fruits.
While they're not all bad, they do pack a medium toxin punch. So, practice moderation and stick to just two servings per week! đ

Indulging in that morning cup of coffee is a ritual for many, but did you know that milk has a naturally occurring toxin called 'casein'? This compound has been associated with various symptoms, from headaches to skin issues, learning difficulties, chronic fatigue, and more. It's even been linked to certain disorders like schizophrenia, psychosis, autism, and depression.
But there's no need to say goodbye to your milk coffee altogether. Consider opting for a gluten-free, plant-based alternative like rice milk, almond milk, or coconut milk so you can get your caffeine hit guilt-free!

"Cure" is often misunderstood. True cures are rareâthey're not just temporary fixes, but permanent changes. Think about it: we cure pork to make ham, salmon to make gravlax, cement to make concrete. These changes are irreversible. Yet, most medical "cures" only offer temporary relief. Let's redefine what it means to truly cure.
