Hyrox Australia & New Zealand Sydney Event ☑️🏃🏼‍♀️❤️
Great to have some Hyrox buddies along this time for the Women’s Open event! Anastasia & Sav smashed their first Hyrox and I managed to beat my Melbourne time so pretty happy about that! 👯❤️

Hyrox is a functional fitness race that can be done as a singles event, doubles event or in a relay (teams of 4)
It’s a great fitness challenge and an awesome goal to work towards… 💪🏻

The International Women’s Day Virtual Fun Run event is coming up! 🩷 Whether you’re a regular runner or if you’ve never ran a 5km before, come and join us on Sunday 10th March! Location TBC (will be an oval in the Baulkham hills/Castle hill area) 🏃🏼‍♀️ We will all start together and finish at your own pace, run, jog, walk, any combination to get to 5km! 🩷 If you’d like to sign up to get an event t shirt and raise money to support women with breast cancer, check out 🩷

Goal setting! 🤩

Any day of the week is a good time to set some goals! But New Years is a very popular time to set goals.
Remember goals should be:
S - Specific
M - Measurable
A - Achievable
R - Relevant
T - Time based

“I want to get fitter” is not a SMART goal.
“ I want to run 5km in under 30 minutes by the end of April” - is!
“I want to get stronger” is not a SMART goal.
“I want to be able to Squat my body weight in 6 months time” - is!

Goals can be whatever you want them to be, but here are some ideas of types of goals you might want to set:
❤️ Cardio based goals
💪🏻 Strength based goals
🕚 Time or number based goals
🤸‍♀️ Event based goals
Or all of the above!

Spartan Challenges are a fantastic goal to work towards to improve your strength & cardiovascular fitness, and there’s 4 different levels you can challenge yourself to:
❤️ Spartan Sprint: 5km, 20 obstacles. Ideal for first timers who want to give it a go and get the feel of the challenge.
💙 Spartan Super: 10km, 25 obstacles. For those who want to push their limits a little further, work on their endurance and running and give a few more challenging obstacles a go.
💚 Spartan Beast: 21km, 30 obstacles. For those who really want to push their endurance and fitness to a higher level.
❤️💙💚 TRIFECTA! Do all 3 Spartan challenges in one weekend! Total: 36km, 75 obstacles! For those who want to push their endurance and fitness to the limits!

What level are you going to challenge yourself to in 2024?

💪🏻 Everyone who conquered Spartan for the first time this weekend all said the same thing…. They never thought they would be able to do something like that. But they did! Pushing yourself out of your comfort zone will get you fitter, stronger, and able to accomplish things you never thought you could!
