Balustrade replacement at Wangi!

The old balustrade had stainless wire with spacings way over regulations not to mention that you can't use stainless wire above 4 metres high. This was 5 metres high.

So this is what we have come up with. It will be painted all white. We have used builders bog and sanded all of our fixing points ready for the painter! The builders bog won't shrink which is why we have chosen to go the extra mile!

We recently completed this awning for MBT-Morisset Bait & Tackle on Fishery Point Road, Morisset. 🎣

We used DAR primed pine posts, beams, rafters and battens. This makes light work of sanding and painting.
To eliminate the use of those unsightly joist hanging brackets, we have notched the waling plate and rafters to slot in nicely and screwed them down from the top to make it more appealing to the eye.

We have used custom orb Colourbond roofing, flashings and high front slotted gutters.
The colour of the Colourbond roofing is Woodland Grey.

The purpose of this awning is to add protection to the shop front and for Anthony to sit outside and have a good yarn. Visit Morisset Bait and Tackle for all of your fishing needs 👍🏼🎣
