Happy Monday! Kicking off the new financial year with excitement and positivity! ๐ŸŽ‰โœจ

This morning, I received a beautiful postcard from a new connection in Hong Kong, featuring a stunning illustration of the city. I almost forgot when I last received a postcard. In this digital age, we usually get thank you messages via phone or email. But this postcard felt so fresh and personal, creating a deep connection through a handwritten message, the stamps, and the meaningful Hong Kong backgroundโ€”my home country. ๐Ÿ‡ญ๐Ÿ‡ฐ

Iโ€™m incredibly grateful to have so many connected hearts and wonderful people to work with. While technology is fantastic, it sometimes takes away the authenticity of our interactions. This postcard reminded me of the importance of balancing technology with genuine human connection.

Todayโ€™s ladies' lunch at the Amora Hotel was an absolute delight! The beautiful setup was the perfect way to celebrate the end of the financial year and gear up for another fabulous new FY. I couldnโ€™t ask for a better group of supportive ladies to share this special afternoon with. ๐Ÿ’•

From the exquisite food to the cozy private function room, everything was just perfect. A huge shoutout to the chef, whose big smile and delicious creations added so much joy to our meal. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ˜Š

A special highlight of the afternoon was our guest, Hagop, the talented handmade jewellery maker. His unique pieces truly added a touch of elegance to our gathering. ๐Ÿ’โœจ

Today was one of those unexpected yet delightful moments where I had the chance to play the "Points of You" during our meeting. Life is full of surprises, and today's card was "Just be."

The message on the card reads: "Enjoy the journey, enjoy every moment, and quit worrying about winning or losing." - Matt Biondi.

This card truly resonates with me at this stage of my life. As an entrepreneur, I'm often in go-go-go mode, always planning and preparing for the next step. However, it's important to remember the value of flexibility and the ability to adapt to sudden changes and unplanned events.

Today, I was reminded to go with the flow and embrace the journey without getting caught up in the outcome. It was a moment of exploration and expansion for me, helping me to see my next steps more clearly.

As someone who came to Australia at 14 with limited English, I deeply tesonate with the need for support. Reflecting on my journey and seeing my

Happy Monday! How I spent the 1st day of the week....

๐ŸŒŸ Started off with my morning routine, organising my to-do list and diary schedule for the week. Had an incredibly productive one-on-one meeting with my referral partner, setting the tone for a successful week ahead.

Highlight of the day was attending an invaluable workshop by the amazing Wendy L Curley on the '7 Steps to Build Effective Referrals'. So much wisdom gained! ๐ŸŒฟ๐Ÿ“š Later, enjoyed some well-deserved Happy Hour drinks with the power team, celebrating our achievements and fostering strong bonds.

Then, went back home for a heartwarming dinner with my kids...and a delicious meal cooked by the world's best mum. ๐Ÿฝ๏ธ๐Ÿ’–

Capped off the day with my favourite sport - badminton ๐Ÿธ to stay healthy, it's my active meditation ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™€๏ธ ๐Ÿ˜Š

Do you believe children are born smart or dumb? Think Again! What really matters is trying and learning new things! ๐Ÿ“šโœจ

Kids who believe they can get better with effort (this is called a "growth mindset") do much better than kids who think they can't change how much they know (that's a "fixed mindset").

๐ŸŽจ Look at my daughter Miaโ€™s drawing this morning! She got so much better with practice. It proves that if you keep trying, you can always improve!

Good mental health helps us feel happy ๐Ÿ˜Š and handle hard times ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ. Right now, life has lots of extra challenges, so it's really important to look after our minds ๐Ÿง  and hearts โค๏ธ.

Work Smart, Live Smart!

Here are five easy ways to make sure we keep our minds healthy:

1. Stay Connected: Talk and spend time with friends and family ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐Ÿ‘งโ€๐Ÿ‘ฆ. Being with people we like makes us feel less worried ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ and sad ๐Ÿ˜ข.

2. Keep Active: Moving and playing ๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿ€ helps us feel good and chase away bad feelings like stress or sadness ๐Ÿ˜ฅ.

3. Take Quiet Time: Doing things like deep breathing ๐Ÿง˜โ€โ™‚๏ธ, yoga, or just sitting quietly ๐ŸŒธ can help us feel calm ๐Ÿ˜Œ and happy.

4. Eat Healthy: Eating good food ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿฅฆ helps our body and brain stay strong ๐Ÿ’ช and work well. Drinking lots of water ๐Ÿ’ง is important too!

How Do You Balance Business, Family, and Self-Growth? Hereโ€™s My Day! ๐ŸŒŸ

Ever wonder how to keep everything in balance? Yesterday was a snapshot of how I manage being a mum, business owner, and wife, all while trying to grow personally.

๐ŸŒ… My day started with an early meeting with my support business networking group - BNI, diving into strategies and connections. Then, I met with my incredible team at Amora Spa to plan our campaign for Mental Health Awareness Month, focusing on glowing skin, a healthy body, and a happy mind.

๐Ÿด Lunch was a blast with the Sheโ€™s The Boss ladies group. Jules, a serial entrepreneur and PR expert who founded Sheโ€™s The Boss Group in 2019, continues to uplift women business owners. Her work, especially with the Australian Women's Speakers platform, is truly inspiring!

โ˜• Midday, I stole some precious moments for a coffee break with my hubby, followed by a parent-teacher interview at my kids' school. The feedback on my boy? So talkative and full of energy - seems he takes after me! ๐Ÿค”

๐ŸŒ In the evening, I attended the "Community Building for Climate Action" event. Although Iโ€™m not an expert on climate change, learning how to contribute to a better planet for our future generations from a business owner's perspective was incredibly enlightening. The energy and ideas from the young leaders there were truly inspiring.

๐ŸŒœ The day wrapped up with a late dinner with my hubby and sweet bedtime talks with my kids.

If you ask me if it's too much for one day, I might say yes, but this is how I show my love and stay connected with the people most important to me. Itโ€™s about negotiating healthy boundaries, not to control, but to maintain meaningful relationships and feel connected.
