With absolute sadness I announce the loss of both of Gavin Hooper grandparents.
We are so heartbroken and this is going to affect our lives emmensly. These people weren't just Gavs grandparents but they were our rocks, our world and our entire family throught the past 15 years and theyve treated gavin as one of there own since birth..even though they are really great grandma and grandpa to our kids they've always been they're only grandma and grandpa 💙 they were there to teach our children to read write.. u name it they helped us with it.. this is our time to repay them and give them the time and love that they deserve and as much as we'd love for life to go on, it's just going to take us time so please patience would be greatly appreciated
In saying that please don't hesitate to call, text, email and I'll try my best to get back to you.
Gavin will be in Chinchilla tomorrow so if urgent please try and contact me before entering the workshop as he needs to work to get his mind of things and take time to write and prepare a eulogy. (He just needs to be in his space)
If there's anything I've missed sorry please comment or as I said call text (prefer text at this time) but otherwise,
Our apologise and well be back on board as soon as we can 😥❤️❤️
For a quick rumdown on what's happened
Neil had been struggling with parkinsons for years. It's had rapidly increased over the last few weeks without anyone realising.
Beth was his primary carer, with a little help here and there. She was a tough independent woman who was very stubborn also, with saying that we don't no how long she'd been feeling unwell for.
After a daily phone call with her daughter (Sue) Sue realised something was wrong so called 000 and rushed over finding Bwth with a swollen lip and very delusional not knowing where or pretty much who she was. Both of them spent the night I'm Emergeny l, got put into wards at the Toowoomba Base and then the next morning Beth suffered a nearly 5 minute seizure. Putting her into and induced coma. She spent days in Toowoomba Base ICU showing small prices of hope. We had them nothe transferred to St Vincent's. By then Neil had determined even more and then was put into palliative care while Beth was still I'm ICU showing small signs of hope. Scans came back and had showed she had quite amount of her brain eaten away from fluid caused by a virus.
Neil passed peacefully with Gavin (his best friend son grandson all in one) by his side Friday 7/01/2023
Beth was taken off all the machines/fluids and then put on palliative but still remained in ICU..I was by her side all night and then when I walked out of the room to go to the bathroom at 6am she passed.. peacefully
It's a sad but beautiful love story and I will he forever greatful to them both for everything ❤️ 💖
Chinchilla's New Open Forum
We will remain closed this week Monday 8th Jan until Friday 12th and hopefully be back open for our customers on the Monday 15th.
Short and sharp
Gavin's grandparents are currently and have been since last Friday are both in hospital fighting for their lives, as well as having to be im Toowoomba by their sides we just need a minute.
It's been a very rough year and we are having the worst start to 2024 we could possibly imagine
Having one in pallative care and one in a coma we feel that this is where we are most needed as selfish as it may sound to some.
We apologise and hope our Beautiful community will understand this situation
Regards Kelsie

Or if it’s important please use my TEMPORARY number 0499086846 but hoping to get our normal number back up and running ASAP
Thank you and I’m very sorry for any inconvenience we may have caused
Every job we do comes with a free detail, headlight restoration and paint protection. So it leaves looking the best it can (cleaner the car is when brought in the cleaner it will leave as time for this is obviously limited)
Little job we done this week, bumper colour match is better then factory
Some before and after pics of a couple of jobs we recently done, bonnet and bumper on the Alfa and rear door and dog leg on the pearl white Mazda, both perfectly colour matched
A few commodore parts we done in the fresh new looking booth last week, came up a treat 🤙🏼
This year we have made quite a few changes giving kelsie and I more time to focus on customer service and getting jobs done a lot quicker, hoping to move away from a dismal year last year.
Covid made getting parts and even certain paint to complete jobs last year almost impossible and a lot of other jobs fell through the cracks and weren't able to be completed by us at all but with a new Ppg paint system a new painter and parts becoming more readily available and having both of us able to be in the office more we will be back to a 5 day turn around on most vehicles this year, we apologise for last years customer service and thank you for your support
