🏳️‍🌈 PRIDE JERSEY ORDERS CLOSE AT MIDNIGHT ON SATURDAY AUGUST 31ST! 🏳️‍🌈

Ahead of our 4th Roller Derby Pride Cup (held on Saturday November 9th at Warragul Leisure Centre), we are releasing pre-sale purchase for our ever popular PRIDE jerseys!

First released in 2019 for our debut Pride Cup, the tops were initially made for the GRRD team....and then we started getting a *huge* number of requests for them.

As a result, we released them to the public for purchase, and we are super proud to see them popping up in the derby community, as well as the broader community!

🛼 THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW 🛒

Orders close on 31st August at midnight!

Tops can be ordered in black or white (perfect for scrims), and can be customised on the back with name and/or number (or left blank).

Styles available include t-shirt and singlet cuts, with sizes ranging from 4 year old child to 4-6XL (depending on style).

We anticipate the tops will be received 6-8 weeks after orders close, and will be available for collection at Pride Cup. Easy peasy - make sure you get your order in faster than a jammer with a run up!

It's taken us this long to calm down from the last Statewide Stampede, held in Geelong and hosted by our merge team buddies Geelong Roller Derby!

Round three saw us playing the Witches of East Vic, and they definitely worked some super strong derby magic on the track!

It was the first time we've gotten to play them this year, so it's definitely not an exaggeration when we say we had A LOT of fun 😁

One sleep to go til our double header SWS weekend!

Pivot City Ranges are excited to announce the line up of skaters for both games, as well as our mod con skaters, over the weekend!

On Saturday we get on track with the Witches of East Vic at 3pm, and on Sunday it's a rematch with the Chiko Rollers at 1pm- we can't wait!

Last weekend some of our GRRD members, Blizzard and Abalanche, swapped their skates for the soccer field in support of the Inverloch Soccer Pride Cup!

A great day had by all, it was fantastic to see so many attendees actively encouraging a fun, safe and supportive sporting environment whilst wearing a mix of rainbow attire with pride 🏳️‍🌈

Rounds 3 and 4 of the Statewide Stampede - Victorian Roller Derby Tournament will be held at Leisuretime Sports Precinct, hosted by the legends themselves, Geelong Roller Derby.

The countdown is officially on....

We absolutely adore doing derby with our dear friends at Geelong Roller Derby - and are equally proud of our achievements at The Great Southern Slam this year!

Geelong roller derby team excels on the national stage.
The Pivot City Ranges, a merger between local competitors and the Gippsland Ranges Roller Derby, competed in the Great Southern Slam tournament recently, which is held in Adelaide every two years.
It’s a marriage that’s lasted for the past three years due to low numbers post-covid.
However, competing in division three, the hybrid team finished third out of 18 teams from all over the nation, beating WA’s “WayWards” along the way before being knocked off in a semi-final by the Chiko Rollers from regional Victoria.
However, the team would beat the Banshees in a play off for third.
It was a tremendous achievement, with half the team located in Gippsland and opportunities to train together obviously being limited.

TGSS Day 3 ends with a 3rd place finish for the mighty Pivot City Ranges!

We couldn't be more proud of our Derby family from both Geelong Roller Derby and Gippsland Ranges Roller Derby, entering The Great Southern Slam for the very first time as a joint team and taking out the Bronze for Division 3.

Our day started with the amazing crew from Dragon City Roller Derby - DCRD, who after an impressive battle took the win to go on to the grand finals!

The decider for 3rd VS 4th put us head to head with our biggest supporters, South Sea Roller Derby. This club has been integral in getting us to where we are as a team, opening their doors again and again so that we could get our players assessed for bouting level. We were incredibly honoured to play with you all, and hope to have many more games in the future!

Thank you to all who supported us near and far, both on the bench and on the couch. You are our bread and butter, and we love you all!
