Holbein Academic Oil Pastels do not readily break and can be used on virtually any surface.

Large sticks that do not have “hard” spots or “non-color” spots.

Individual pastels are paper-wrapped and measure 13/32″ diameter × 2-3/4″ long (11 mm × 69 mm).

A small further explanation of the pigment information:
The « P » stands for pigment and the other letter for the colour. Example tundra violet contains the pigment PB29 = Pigment blue 29 and PBr6 = Pigment brown 6.
It is a supergranulating colour, easily recognisable by the supergranulation mark.
