Raising awareness of su***de prevention and the mental health and wellness of Truck Drivers in the Mid and North Coast of New South Wales
Happy Easter Sunday.☀️

On 12 November 2022, 100 trucks drove in convoy from Woolgoolga Industrial Estate south to the Coffs CEX Stadium and parked on display for the public to see and for truck drivers to connect with mates in the industry and remember those lost to su***de in our trucking community.
In 2021, Ian “ENO” Taylor felt the deep impact of losing his colleagues Mark Haines and Tom Seccombe. Both had died by su***de. Both fellow truck drivers, Eno wanted to do something to raise awareness that truck drivers needed help and support and encourage others to speak out and seek help when they need it so other families wouldn't have to go through this.
Eno went on to organise the first convoy of trucks in Coffs Harbour, reaching out to his network in the local community to make it happen. Since then this simple act of 'making a difference' has become an annual event, aimed at raising awareness around su***de prevention by reducing stigmas associated with it and by encouraging truck drivers, and other men in our community, to start conversations about their mental health.
