It’s been a minute, because work and life need to take priority at times, but I’ve been plugging away when I can making a few plastics. I’ve got a bunch of stock starting to build up which I’ll drop online some time soon, but for now I need to clear out a bit of the current stock I have. So as a deal just for my awesome followers, use the code ‘FEB20’ to get 20% off ALL current stock of soft plastics - even if they’re already on special!
Not long home from an trip north to Stanage and the 6” and 8” Hypor Shad’s simply smashed fish for a week straight! Here is just a few random catches from what was another amazing trip with some awesome shallow water trout hunting.
Hit the links in my bio to find them online to purchase or shoot me a message if you want a custom order. We can post aus wide 📦 🇦🇺
When wind and rough seas pushed us into some protected bays, light gear and OP Prawns flicked in tight to the rocks kept trout hitting the deck!! They loved the prawn 🦐
I’ve got another trip up north that called for something Orange… so I made a few extras of Sunset (on the left) and Coral Trout (on the right). I only made a couple of extra packs that are available online now in the 6 & 8” Hyporshads, and there was just enough left for 1 pack of the coral trout in 6” fat paddler. Link in bio to the site if you’re keen on them!
with yet another cracking fish on the fat paddler! Check out the colours and patterns on this fish! The man sure can consistently find quality fish - Head over and give him a follow and check it out!!
Did a lazy 20km day trip on the weekend with , who walloped me on numbers and biggest fish I might add, and we found the odd decent bass along the way. We didn’t break any records with only about 20 fish between us for the 20km (or 18,346 paddle strokes) paddled, but it was a bloody fun day going from Lilydale to Copmanhurst in the yaks - which was the last stretch of water on the Clarence that I’d never been on between the Mann junction to the mouth. So if I’d done it and only caught a single bass I’d still feel accomplished to say I’ve boated, kayaked and fished along such a massive amount of such an iconic waterway. Luckily a few more than 1 bass were happy to entertain us though. We found some early little ones on surface but the rest of the fish and all the better fish for me then came on small Chatterbaits with 3” fat paddler or 3.8” flat paddler trailers.
Holt smokes this is exciting. If you are coming to the Berkley Urunga Estuary Sport Fishing Flathead Tournament this year, then you’ve just scored double the chances of winning a boat!!! If you aren’t coming… what the heck were you thinking?
What an amazing couple of prizes the guys at North Coast Boating Centre have put together with the help of the major sponsors - Anglapro boats, suzukiaustraliamarine, Garmin Marine and Dunbier Trailers!!
Can’t wait to fish this comp again and see everyone there!!
Some OP Prawns are available online! I’ve just added a few each of the Half Cooked and Melon RPG colours, and there’s still a little bit of stock of other colours too!!
Check them out here - https://freshestfishing.com.au/products/untitled-aug22_22-53?variant=46791675347260
Special request tonight, some ‘Half Cooked’ Prawns 🍤!!!
Pretty confident these will catch so might get around to making some more at some at some point.
Slow and steadily getting some Freshest OP Prawns made and bagged up. I know they’re taking a lot longer than I said, but hey I gotta go to work to pay the bills!
By the time a have a bunch ready to go I might even have the freshestfishing website back online so you can all buy them easily!
What’s the thoughts on a hand poured 185mm Luderick Swimbait? Will Jew eat it?
