SGA are looking for an experienced truck driver to join our valuable team

Position Summary:

MR License - Delivery Driver for locally owned Aluminum Windows and Doors manufacturing company. You will need to have a high standard of:

Safety compliance - in the factory & on site to safely carryout deliveries (load & unload delivery truck),
Provide customer service (liaise with clients & builders on site),
Checking & finalizing delivery schedules: Eye for detail, Organized, Team player & Positive can-do attitude
High level physical fitness, as heavy lifting is a regular part of your daily tasks.

In this role you will need to follow the guidance & instruction given by the Production Manager to ensure all preapproved deliveries are actioned in line with site arrangements, company protocol & scheduling demands.

It is vital that you comply not only with all company policy & procedures – but on a daily basis you MUST comply with all delivery demands, individual site ‘safety assessments’, site WH&S safety regulations and also state/government road rules & regulations to ensure SAFETY is paramount in your daily tasks.

You will become a member of our dynamic team who's sole goal is to achieve high standard of work; therefore prior experience in reference to manual handling of aluminum windows and doors is desired.

You will work for a locally owned company known for their level of excellence & prior/current contact achievements. SGA Architectural Window Solutions is a leading manufacturer and installer of architectural window and door systems in the Coffs Harbour & surrounding districts & are a friendly, family run company who have been in business for over 40+ years.

We are seeking an experienced Factory Hand. Experience assembling Aluminium Window & Doors would be preferred. Desired prior knowledge with AWS Vantage and Elevate products and extrusions would be a plus.
However full training & guidance will be part of the internal training process.

High level of physical fitness is mandatory. As you will be manufacturing custom order windows & doors physical fitness is key to your daily tasks. Also attention to detail will be a key aspect to be successful in this role.

** FACTORY HAND ** Basic Position Summary:

In this role you will need to follow the guidance & instruction given by the Production Manager to ensure all preapproved fabrication/assembly is in line with order requirements & scheduling demands.

* Read and interpret work orders
* Allocate all materials required for orders, depending on your assigned manufacturing tasks.
* High level of physical abilities
* Operating machinery (mainly handheld & air compressed tools)
* Operate a ‘walk-behind’ fork lift & other lifting aids
* Attention to detail – will need to monitor all materials supplied & report any defaults for NCR processing
* Excellent communication skills
* General factory duties (housekeeping & paperwork)
* Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles and/or external storage racks.
* Maintain stored supplies & stock management
* Ensure the goods/items are properly arranged and handled to prevent damage and reduce returns & reworks

It is vital that you comply with all company policy & procedures (duty related, manual handling & all safety standards).

In this role you will need to follow the guidance & instruction given by the Production Manager to ensure all preapproved fabrication (cutting) is in line with order requirements & scheduling demands.

* Read and interpret work orders
* Measuring, cutting and processing of all aluminium window and door extrusions
* High level of physical abilities
* Operating machinery Saws/Routers/CNC)
* Operate a ‘walk-behind’ fork lift & other lifting aids
* Attention to detail – will need to monitor all materials supplied & report any defaults for NCR processing
* Excellent communication skills
* General factory duties (housekeeping & paperwork)
* Assisting with loading and unloading items from vehicles and/or external storage racks.
* Maintain stored supplies & stock management
* Ensure the goods/items are properly arranged and handled to prevent damage and reduce returns & reworks
