Smart Building Projects

Dear clients,

I know I have not posted anything in some time due to my being deployed on various military assignments, however today I need to get this out.

For those of you who have had work done by us over the years, you would no doubt have been acquainted with Mick, the electrician. Unfortunately, due to a sudden illness, Mick has passed away surrounded by family.

I have known Mick for many years and he was a constant source of friendship, honesty and advice. He was an honorary member of my family, stopping in to check on my wife and kids whilst I was away or for random cups of coffee and a chat when I was home, playing with my dog (and all my clients dogs for that matter), he was personable with everyone and nothing was beyond him. He had an incredible work ethic and was just an all round nice man.
Today my heart breaks for his family and the many friends he had.
I am thankful that he stopped in to see me on my recent return from operations for the usual coffee and catch up. I am thankful he became known as the dog whisperer and ferret catcher in our home and for the advice and assistance he gave my wife when we were renovating our home - I was away with army assisting with the bush fire crisis in 2020.
I am a thankful for his enduring friendship, his sense of humor and warmth and for the fatherly advice he constantly gave me. I'm thankful for having the privilege of knowing him and the laughs we shared.
I'll miss you greatly mate. Rest in Peace.

Bathroom / Ensuite Renovation Part 2

The final piece of this renovation was the bathroom. Same theme selected by the client to maintain the look and feel of the ensuite.

Bathroom / Ensuite Renovation - Craigieburn Part 1

Recently completed, this is the new ensuite. By combining the old toilet with the small ensuite we created an ensuite that was more practical and roomy.
Our client was awesome, as she waited for nearly 2 years for me to be available as I was deployed on Operation Bushfire Assist and Operation Covid-19 Assist, however we got there in the end.
I especially love the green basin.

Swimming Pool Decking Project @ .

Using Ekodeck, a sustainable product (available exclusively at Bunnings) and a treated pine sub-frame.
Ekodeck requires no oiling, has a set length of 5.4m (great for long runs), concealed fixings, rot, decay and termite resistant, non-toxic, UV stabilized and is made from reclaimed and recycled materials - meaning it doesn't contribute to deforestation.

So my office is finally completed.
