B2B Marketing Agency - Brand & Strategy, B2B Social Media, Brand Design and Performance. What does it mean to be more human? We are The Revery.
The Revery is a marketing agency that gives B2B and B2B tech a human face. We provide marketing and brand strategy that helps technology businesses succeed. It's recognising that your products are being bought by people, not a company. People, who can get distracted by technical language, product specifications and too many details. People, who are hardwired to bring emotion and trust into even se
Brand Refresh vs Rebrand. Your existing logo often makes that choice for you. Does it have good bones? Will the money you save with a refresh still get you the results you want? We decided that for intelligent automation gurus rapidMATION the answer was Yes and Yes. So we reno’d the logo, created a new colour palette, font and iconography and built them a beautiful and impactful website. All starting with their existing logo.

Wise words
Hardcat Asset Management is a Melbourne based tech company with a seriously impressive client base. Including United Nations, Boeing and the Australian Defence Force, to name a few. It was a pleasure to dive deep into the business and give them a brand strategy, tagline, brand re-fresh and website that reflected their performance on global stage.

We have always been pro-flexible working even BR (Before RONA). It enabled us to attract high calibre talent and sat well with our values. However, the pandemic forced us to up it a notch. We tightened our tech and remote processes and encouraged the team to set their own hours. What was created out of necessity to cope in a strange time been quite enlightening. We became conscious that some of us are Steve Jobs between 5-11am, whilst others had brains that felt wrapped in an Oodie until 11am. The owls would have no trouble knocking out a brand strategy at 11pm whilst the larks were top of their game on a 5am meeting with New York. It increased motivation, productivity and efficiency. So we've stayed working like that. Now contemplating if our 'We're Hiring' ads should include circadian rhythm diverse culture. It’s a thing.

We are so excited to introduce our newest team member, Oxana Timbay.
Oxana started as our client and found us so irresistible she decided to join the dark side.
With a raft of experience in Biotech and IT, such as Cell Therapies and Fujitsu, Oxana is the perfect fit for our complex clients.
Only 4 months in, Oxana already has us whipped into shape and running like a DREAM! Hoorah!
Meeting pre-lockdown at the beautiful Peter Mac building to work on Cell Therapies Content and Sales strategy. A division of Peter Mac, Cell Therapies work on improving the immune systems ability to fight cancer producing a more vigorous attack on a patient's cancer cells. Such important work and we're honoured to be working them.
Not quite how the movies sold it to us
This is why our best ideas come and get us at 4am, during yoga and in the car (but not done together, this would be dangerous and also make us very tired).
Our brand design, positioning and tagline for one of Australia's leading cyber security consultancies, Pure Security. Inspired by redacted code and a step back to the 80's
Did you know that developers come in 2 shades. They build things or they break things. To be a cyber security developer, you need to be in the break things categories so you can think like a hacker and prevent breaches. Fascinating.
Interesting article on how The New York Times have smashed revenue goals not by changing their journalism but by changing the way they present their content. Some good tips here for all content creators:
- More Visuals
- Regular Live Content
- Innovation in viewing e.g Virtual Reality
- Content Summaries that can be understood in a glance, to provide relief from long form articles
How New York Times Reinvented Content Marketing? The New York Times recorded its single biggest increase in digital news subscribers last quarter. The newspaper added 308,000 subscribers, taking its total digital news subscription to 2 million. In 2016, New York Times generated 500 million in pure digital revenue which is far more than the digital...
Like the plumber with the leaky tap or the cobbler’s children that get around without shoes, we have been neglectful of our own branding........until now. Introducing our brand new logo. However this is only Act 1. Shiny website to appear on stage soon. Exciting!!
Educational, research based, problem solving, results focused, product break down etc etc etc. SO MANY types of content. But what type of content do your buyers want to see at what stage of their journey and where do humans come in?
