This week is dedicated to raising awareness about individuals who identify with Deafblindness.
The Deafblind community is very diverse. Deafblindness is a results from the combination of hearing and vision loss or impairment. Some of the most common causes are Rubella, CHARGE syndrome, Usher syndrome and ageing.
We celebrate Deafblind week on Helen Kellers birthday, June 27th. Helen Keller was an American author, disability rights advocate, political activist and lecturer. Helen lost her sight and her hearing after a bout of illness when she was 19 months old.

🚶♀️Walk for Autism Update: 🚶♀️
Thank you to everyone who supported the Metanoia Rays Team walk for Autism in May. As a team we raised over $700 dollars and walked thousands of steps.
Over the month with this campaign, Autism Spectrum Australia have reported to have raised over a million dollars!
Metanoia Rays has participated in this event every year since 2021. Keep an eye out on our page for next years event 🚶♀️
