Many years ago my Motherinlaw taught me how to make her Millfei - it was a must as this is one of the only desserts my husband eats. He requested I learn it 😂 Eventually I converted the custard recipe into my trusty TM31 at the time 🥰 👍

Do you have a TM6? Now theres a thicken mode. Just add all your custard ingredients into the bowl and select thicken mode and thats it! How simple!

Guys I'm truly not one to post selfies BUT the weather today is GLORIOUS and I couldn't resist! 😂 yes that's a thick hoody jacket for all you southerners 😂

You can cut to your size preference and freeze the left overs! I eat these straight from the freezer and they last for a few weeks its great 🙆‍♀️👌

Perfect when you have unexpected guests - I just pull some of these out of the freezer and sprinkle with coconut 🥥😋

Biscotti is my all time favourite treat I look forward to every Christmas! It's hard for me to stop at 1...or 5 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️

Luckily dads an ex butcher so slicing these beauties doesn't take all that long 🤣 even Dad has no choice about getting into the baking spirit 🤣 making family memories 😉 ❤️

Every year we make our yummy Christmas cookies! 😋 they may not look perfect but they are so yummy and the memories we make are priceless!

We have been doing this since we were kids. It used to be an annual baking day with family and close friends and all of us kids loved it!

My mum has continued doing this now with the grandchildren and I really have got to hand it to my beautiful mother...she has alot of patience! 🤣🤦‍♀️ 6 grandchildren under 6 all close in age...it gets wild 😜

We are now booked out for the remainder of the year. Going to have a few days break before the real craziness of Christmas baking starts next week. We will be taking orders again after the 9th January.

BAKLAVA 😋

This is my Yiayia Petroula's baklava recipe. Yiayia is one of the most important and special people in my life...growing up I would tell her all my problems before I would even tell my Mum (sorry Mum 🤣). She has helped shape me into the person I am today.

I always love listening to yiayias stories about her life as a young girl in Kalymnos and what it was like when she came to Australia all those years ago. One of my favourite stories is when she talks about her experience working in a zaharloplastio (patisserie) for many years. This is where she learnt to make Baklava and now has passed that on to her children and grandchildren 🥰

So many layers of pastry...it's oh so sweet and crunchy! Oh and did I mention this can be made dairy free? 😋
