π Ego, anger, fears and mistaken desires have created sicknesses in our minds and our hearts. These sicknesses are not part of our true selves and we have believed in them for too long. This acquired negativity causes us confusion.
To separate and to dissolve this sickness, this negativity, from our original goodness we need to experience the qualities of our original selves, especially the qualities of love and peace.
These original qualities cleanse and heal. Every day we become cleaner, every day we become truer to ourselves. In the mirror of silence we see our original selves. In the mirror of silence our spiritual identity becomes reality, rather than a distant hope. To consolidate our reality we must create a daily space for silence. We must listen to ourselves. π
π± ΀ο be dictated by external situations, which makes us run around without stopping internally, induces unnecessary stress on the mind, which keeps us tied to the strings of the external, like a puppet pulled, pressed and pushed by circumstances.
To break free from this force, to relieve the mind of the weight of stress and waste and routine, I need to step inside and reflect on who I am and where I am going and reassess my value system. π±
β¦ Have you ever been angry, then walked to a calm place in nature - maybe to a lake or the ocean shore? Remember how your anger just dissolved and melted away?
This is because water has a cooling, soothing effect on the physical body and the emotions. After a little time in such a calm spot, the soul feels healed. What good fortune, then, if you are lucky enough to live by a river or the sea!
But if you live and work in the heart of the city surrounded by concrete, you canβt just run away to cool off by the river when you feel anger rising. Where do you go? The best place to retreat is inside yourself; go within and you will find a very similar healing space. This is because anger is just superficial. When you move deeper and deeper into silence, you drop below such superficialities and find a place of peace. β¦
πΌ The physical sun sends rays of golden light and warmth to the seeds in the earth. When seeds absorb the light and warmth, they begin to stir, to awaken, and the miracle of life occurs. In the same way, Divine, the source of light, emanates rays of love constantly. If we are spiritually alert, we receive those rays and our original goodness awakens within us. πΌ
Each morning, before you begin your journey through the day, sit still in silence and sow the seed of peace. Peace is freedom β freedom from the burden of negativity and wastefulness. Let peace find its home within you. Peace is your original strength. Simply let your first thought of the day be peaceful. Plant its seed. Water it with attention and your will become calm.

A little bit about the Rajyoga meditation Course:
This meditation course teaches the practice of calming a busy mind and experiencing the strength & beauty of one's inner self. It involves a deeper understanding of universal spiritual truths-'who am I?', 'where do I come from?', 'where am I going?' It is an open eyed meditation practice with no postures, chanting of mantras.
Each session includes two 10minutes of meditation practices along with an explanation of intriguing spiritual topics which enable deep meditation experiences.

The good navigator
"Mistakes will not throw you off course unless you let them stop you. A good navigator keeps a sure eye on the final destination, but steers through a series of approximations." - Dadi Janki, Pearls of Wisdom
Stopping, or giving up, can be the way we handle mistakes. But if we have an attitude of being on a journey, then obstacles we encounter will be accurately seen as just that, obstacles - but not the end of the road. A good traveller, a good navigator, will know before leaving that there will no doubt be diversions, and go prepared to move sideways a little, but never stop.

Embrace Change
When you are aware and accept that everything around you is constantly changing, and that you have no control over 99.99% of it, you are able to embrace change like a close friend!
Change is a like a river, constantly flowing and moving things around. The river of life is constantly bringing you ideas, people, situations β each one is an opportunity to be enriched or to enrich others, and to learn.
Change is the play of the universe as it entertains us in the biggest light and sound show of all time. Why not sit back and enjoy the show?
