The Darwin Aboriginal Art Fair might be over, but you can still immerse yourself in the colourful world of indigenous art by paying a visit to the Salon De Refusés at the Waterfront.

Set in a luminous space at the end of Wharf 2, the gallery overlooks the Rec lagoon and provides the best setting to admire and take in all the beauty of indigenous art in all its forms, from painting on canvas, bark, wood carving and more.

A testament to the incredible quality of the works submitted but not accepted into the 2024 National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Awards (NATSIAA), this impressive collection is exhibited at the pop-up gallery near Pink Chopstix restaurant on these days:

Stokes Hill Wharf will soon join the list of iconic locations hosting a performance of the S***f Puppets, as part of the Darwin Festival.

A fusion of sculpture, physical theatre, and music, two giant seagulls will roam around the Wharf this Saturday and Sunday.
