Anastasia and Red Knot celebrating arrival in Dili
Red Knot clearing in
Welcome ashore Anastasia!
At 6.30am on Wednesday morning Red Knot and Anastasia were approaching the finish in Dili. Red Knot was 3 miles off and Anastasia was 6 miles off. A remarkably close finish over a 425 mile course. With little wind the next hour or two will be tough for both yachts - let’s hope for a sunrise breeze to get them over the line
A long and frustrating day for the yachts still at sea. Both Anastasia and Red Knot spent a lot of the day becalmed on the north coast. They are about 44 miles from Dili. Hopefully the wind will pick up tonight
Forever Young sets foot in Dili
Welcoming committee waiting for Colie and Forever Young to come ashore for clearance

At 1730 on Monday, Colie was 52 miles from Dili, having been becalmed near baucau- she is expected to arrive dili after midnight. Forever Young is 86 miles from Dili and is expected in around 0700 hours on Tuesday morning. Anastasia and Red Knot will round Jaco island tonight and are continuing their tussle with only 1 mile between them.
Antipodes ashore in Dili at mobys. Finished in 2 days and 9 minutes
At 0630 hours Monday morning, Antipodes had 37 miles to go to the finish. Colie was just past Jaco island, while Anastasia and Red Knot continued their close quarters tussle in the Timor Sea. Forever Young is approaching Jaco, sticking close to the rum line like all good cruisers do!!
At sunset on Sunday, antipodes was closing on Jaco Island. Hopefully wind will hold for them in the Wetar strait
After a long and frustrating night, the yachts are clear of Cape Fourcroy and into the Timor Sea. In a Satphone report, Red Knot reported winds 20-25 knots SE and all well on board.
