5th of May. It’s not Mexican 🇲🇽 Independence Day, but it has become one of the significant celebration days, more celebrated abroad.

Celebrating the battle of Puebla with a nod to, arguably, the best thing to eat in the town of Puebla.

Taco Al Pastor will be on ALL DAY on Sunday.

Tacos Al Pastor were in first seen in Puebla and were brought over to Mexico by Lebanese and Iraqi immigrants. The taco the made its way to Mexico City where it evolved to be served on a corn tortilla with a slice of pineapple 🍍

Agave Of The Week

Drum roll please. This is a first for us, we have only ever ranged agave spirits from Mexico, but when there are amazing products being made in our land down under, it's easy to support.

From our mate at Black Snake distilery, Rosemary looking after us with some beautiful agave Americana, and some great products. This one is the Pechuga. Whats not to love about a product featuring kangaroo in the production. Its funny, as I wanted to create one with crocodile.

With the Pechuga on thethird distillation a recipe of fruits, nuts and spices along with kangaroo meat is immersed into the distillate for over 24 hours. The resulting product is a creamy, yet spicy spirit revealing notes of lavender, raw green pumpkin seeds and melon. Definitely worth a taste.

Sorry for the delay. There have been a couple of hold ups, but not long to go now. We cant wait to welcome you back. Hopefully you will love the changes.

Unfortunately we had a small delay on our schedule, which has cost us around 2 weeks. We are now aiming for the end of the month for reopening.
