Hello everyone! It’s been 6 weeks here at Makan Stop. We hope you’ve enjoyed our new space and menu! We are reviewing our operating hours and would love to hear your thoughts!

Currently open Mon-Sat, closed Sunday. Would you prefer if we opened earlier for coffee and breakfast (E.g. 7.30am-3pm) , or keep our current hours of 9am - 4pm for a late lunch and coffee? Please feel free to leave all suggestions in the comments below! 😃

Congee, also known as Rice porridge or “Jook” is an Asian staple. Most of us grow up eating it, and very possibly our first food. We eat it when we are unwell, or on a cool day. We eat it for breakfast, lunch and even at dinner. There are so many variations and no limit to what we put in it. Pictured here is our Tofu Mushroom & Vegetable Congee. GF and vegan friendly. Available at both our venues.

Roti + Curry Chicken + Extra Roti! It’s a common breakfast and supper meal in Singapore. Available on our all day menu. 😋

Nasi Lemak with Curry Chap Chye (mixed vegetables) is completely VEGAN friendly! Served with a house-made mushroom sambal and papadums instead of anchovies and egg. 😋 The drink on the side is our Housed Brewed Barley served cold!
