Last weekend we hosted our 2023 Darwin Young Adults Retreat and what a great time it was.
It was a time to reflect on where we are at personally and also an opportunity to meet new people and share experiences with each other.

The retreat begins on Friday night at 6pm at St Mary’s Cathedral Hall followed by a full day at Holy Spirit school from 9am to 4pm. 🔥🔥

Sadly, as the year comes towards a close, we say goodbye to our wonderful NET Team.
They are set to leave on the 11th of November so we will be celebrating them and their work at the 9.30am Mass at St Mary's Cathedral followed by a Morning Tea on Sunday 5th of November🎉
Join us as we say thank you and farewell to this inspiring group of young people who have said yes to God and poured out their hearts for us in the NT over the last 10 months!

An AMAZING day out in Darwin to celebrate WORLD YOUTH DAY!!
We might not be in Lisbon with the millions of others, but we definitely didn't shy away from bringing the energy of WYD to Darwin🤩🥳
Thank you so much to all those who participated and helped with the event, it was a great day for the whole family, and you didn't fail to show up. It was awesome to see so much talent from all the performers throughout the day!
We continue to pray for all the young people in Portugal celebrating WYD and especially those from the NT!!

WHAT. A. TIME.
60 young legends from around the Territory showed up and it was an absolute blast of a time!!
Breakaway 23 created an atmosphere like no other. From the massive slip n slide and the competitive games of crazy olympics to the mosh pit created by our amazing band and the inspiration that oozed from our guest speakers, Breakaway 23 was nothing short of amazing!
Thank you to all of you who were part of the magic and A HUGE shoutout to all the team who helped make this Breakaway happen❤

What a beautiful ceremony to celebrate the Priestly Ordination and Thanksgiving Mass of Fr. Dean Taberdo. We are very blessed to have an incredible young man such as Dean to serve us in our Church.
Massive kudos to everyone involved in the liturgy and organization of the whole celebration!

Dear Brothers and Sisters,
Dean Taberdo, who comes from a family residing in Palmerston within our Diocese, has been on a journey of preparing for Priesthood for several years. He will be ordained as a Priest for the Diocese at 7pm on May 24, 2023, at St Mary's Star of the Sea Cathedral.
Dean brings many gifts with him, including pastoral sensitivity, a love for liturgy, a caring heart, and a deep readiness to serve.
Please keep Dean in your prayers as he prepares for this important milestone in his life, where he will be ordained to serve God and His people.
I would like to extend an invitation for you to attend this significant Diocesan event that is important for our whole Church.

About a week ago the Youth at the Cathedral of St Mary’s put together the stations of the cross walk. It was such a wonderful depiction of the Lord’s sacrifice for us.
