Following nearly twelve months of planning, preparing and travelling back and forth, we're finally ready to make our big announcement.

One IT Services has acquired Alice Onsite IT as part of a strategic growth plan to deliver premium ICT support, products and services across the Northern Territory. The acquisition takes the number of support personnel to over thirty, and represents the most significant growth for One IT since the business started in 2012.

Most importantly, the team in Alice are all moving over to One IT and we're so pleased to see the people start working together. In business acquisition, and business more generally, the most important factor is the culture of the people. We're witnessing two teams with great work cultures come together to create something even better. The excitement across both locations is amazing.

The formal start of ONE team is July 1 2024, at which point the people, products, services, and pricing will remain the same. There will be changes to come to ensure One IT is operating at the highest level of performance, but for now we're looking after the people and clients, and the rest is planned for later.

To Wayne and Kate Driver of Alice Onsite. You have built an great business and an amazing team. You should be proud of your achievement and I thank you both for approaching me with this opportunity nearly a year ago. You have both been so easy to deal with throughout this process with open discussions and logical decisions. I promise to do my best to continue your success, and look after your team.

The next few months are going to be busy and exciting as we work our way through this transition. This year, One IT Services is participating in the TerraCycle Australia & New Zealand Colgate-Palmolive and Gillette Razor Recycling Challenge thanks to NT Recycling Solutions which will see empty toothpaste tubes and disposable razor blades recycled by the end of June 2024.

With approximately 35,000 families in Darwin alone, over 420,000 toothpaste tubes will be sent to landfill every year.

We have a collection bin ready to be filled and will be doing our part along with our staff. So come on down we are happy to take your empty toothpaste tubes and used disposable razor blades to help fill our bins and do a good deed for our environment! Captain Planet thanks you!
