Brooke is a Darwin local and is passionate about helping Territory businesses make an impression through her highly sought-after design expertise.
Brooke enjoys helping her clients put their best foot forward through branding and document design. Her design work ranges from Annual Reports to merchandise such as hooded towels for the new SWELL facility, and most recently Brooke was selected as the design partner for the new local lifestyle magazine, Territory Savvy.
She's a busy mumma of two young children, and loves raising them in the laidback Darwin lifestyle where she grew up. And, in all of her spare time, Brooke has also launched a second brand called 'Art by Brooke' where she can flex her creativity a little bit more, through her Territory-inspired artwork, pattern designs and products.

We recently completed the design & layout of the RSPCA Darwin Annual Report as a pro bono project. It was a pleasure being able to support RSPCA’s important work, and be part of this one 🐶 📖 with True North Strategic Communication

We have received our hard copy of the RSPCA Darwin 2022-23 Annual Report in the office! 😻

We were proud to partner with Studio B to write and design this report pro bono for a cause close to our hearts, protecting animals 💛

About last week.... 💃

To say that I'm proud that my 'little' business has reached this incredible milestone is an understatement! To reach 10 years and be able to reflect on the incredible achievements that we've had over that time and the projects we've had the opportunity to work on – is truly amazing.

It felt very surreal, and we had a blast celebrating. I'd love to extend my thanks to everyone who has contributed to Studio B along the way ~ there are so many of you! Clients, fellow designers who have collaborated, suppliers (photographers, printers, sign writers, bookkeepers, accountant) and last but not least my family & friends. Being in small business is downright HARD. It's incredibly stressful especially with the deadlines that come with our industry. But I wouldn't change a thing, and I'm SO glad I took that enormous step 10 years ago.

Every approved quotation. Every paid invoice. Every opportunity, and, even every set back… I am genuinely grateful for each of them, and each and everyone of you. Thank you!

We are thrilled to welcome Sophie to the Studio B team. Sophie has recently moved back to Darwin from Melbourne and has hit the ground running on some exciting projects. Sophie brings a range of skills and experience to the team with a Certificate IV in Graphic Design from Shillington College and a Bachelor of Environmental Design (INT) along with experience in the fashion industry! It has been a pleasure having some company in the studio and we're very much looking forward to seeing what Sophie creates for our lucky clients. 🤩

Beyond proud of this one!! It was an absolute pleasure to work with True North Strategic Communication and the team at Infrastructure NT on this important 200+ page document. The project kicked off with brand development for Infrastructure NT and the document design included months of hard work, numerous regional maps, infographics and loads of tables full of exciting and important projects for the Territory.

The Territory’s new Infrastructure Framework has now been released to align infrastructure planning and investment with the Territory Government’s 2030 goals of a sustainable and diverse $40 billion economy, a population of 300 000 and 35 000 more jobs.

The Framework includes the new NT Infrastructure Strategy and Plan, as well as the addition of a Pipeline and Audit.

The Territory’s future is bright. To build this future, we need to:
- Invest in the right infrastructure, in the right place, at the right time.
- Support increased growth, productivity and innovation.
- Improve liveability.
- Embed sustainability and resilience.

The Framework, Strategy and Plan and Pipeline have been informed by consultation with Northern Territory and Australian government agencies, local government, land councils, industry representative bodies and the private sector.

I am beyond excited to share that Studio B has a new service offering ~ Surface Pattern Design 🤗 I have recently completed a course run by the incredibly talented , and can now create repeat patterns from my artwork. These patterns can then be applied to literally any surface / product; textiles, wallpaper, stationery, packaging or even used for digital and brand building (like this one will be 😉)… As this is a slight side step to our usual work, I’ve decided to share my journey over at a new account .s 〰️ please feel free to follow along if you’d like to watch this journey 🙏🏼

We’ve had a very busy start to the new year with a super fun re-brand for the lovely Catie Kirke - ART Your Life 👩🏼‍💻👩🏼‍🎨 Lots to encapsulate into the brand, and a very broad target audience ➡️ challenge accepted ✅

Annnnd we're back! Thank you all for your patience while I enjoyed some special time on maternity leave with our precious little girl, Mila. The past 9 months have absolutely flown, and I am excited to get back into work mode. I'll be working part-time for the next little while, but available over the festive season. So feel free to get in touch if you need a hand over the coming weeks. 🧑🏼‍💻📣💃🏼

I recently had the absolute honour of designing the logo for this special new fishing comp Maxs Cast For A Cure - Fishing Competition. Set up in honour of their gorgeous little man, Max, who sadly lost his battle with brain cancer just over 6 months ago. The competition is a Family Friendly Fishing Competition in Darwin NT to be run on the 13th-15th May 2022. To Raise funds and awareness for Brain Cancer and the Charlie Teo Foundation.

The silhouette of Max fishing was based off a beautiful video that Lincoln (Max’s dad) shared of him casting on a trip with dad 💙 There were definitely a couple of tears shed during this one, and I am beyond happy to be one of the many local businesses who are donating some pretty incredible prizes.

Get on board guys, it's only $80 to register and will no doubt be a huge success. Thanks to Lincoln and Naomi for inviting me to be part of it all. 💙

Welcome to our newest recruit ~ Mila August 💝 My apologies for the delayed announcement ha ha, having two kiddies certainly is next level 👦🏼👶🏻 and I’ve been soaking up all of the newborn cuteness. Mila is 3 months already, and the time is certainly flying. Thank you to all of my wonderful clients for your understanding during this very special time. I will be in touch a little later in the year once the studio is back up and running. 😊👏🏼

Yippeee!!! Today is officially my last day in the studio before I head off on maternity leave 💃 Please note that Studio B will be closed during this time.
