Hi guys just a quick update regarding the chips shortage, we are able to get some straight cut chips in this week 1/3 of the amount we use to get if we do run out of chips we cannot serve anything else except our homemade potato cakes/scallops/fritter.

It is now first in first serve.

Some customers are ordering $5 chips but receiving less than usual that’s because it is our small/minimum chips.

Hi All

We have gotten a lot of customers asking why our sizes of chips are smaller and why $5 of chips is not the same as before, just to clarify the issue there is a National shortage of chips, the brand we were using before is part of the shortage. We are using crinkle cut chips because there is no other option and the prices of the chips is no longer like before it has increase 40% , we can’t be in business if we sell the same amount as we use to pre Covid.

The cost of living and operating has increase dramatically from:

Electricity

Water

Supplies

Gas

Rent

Wage

Cleaning

We hope you all understand how we feel and what it’s like to operate a business during and after Covid.

Due to the increase of costs from literally everything it is very hard for us to stay afloat we have never experience these kinds of rises from our suppliers in the 18 years of our business. We are forced to increase our prices starting from tomorrow the
