Ever wondered where the name 'Kiwanda' comes from? Kiwanda means 'factory' in Swahili, a universal language spoken in East Africa where some of our handpicked coffee crops are grown.

Kiwanda Café was designed to be a factory concept, and incorporating the Swahili language into our name represents our connection to the beautiful coffee region in East Africa.

Kiwanda Café is now a place where coffee is the epicentre of connection, discovery, and celebration.
