Hello there, lovely humans of Body Riches Chiropractic!
I’m excited to present to you the very first edition of our new monthly newsletter! This will be a time for you to relax and tune into some thoughts that have been buzzing around the clinic (and in my head).
For those of you I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting yet, I’m Dr Riana, your passionate neighbourhood chiropractor here at Body Riches Chiropractic. Whether you’ve been with us for years or are brand new to the clinic, I’m so grateful to have you as part of our community and excited to have you along for the ride each month.
Here’s a little sneak peek into what you can expect!
Each edition, we will explore everything from practical tips for maintaining a healthy spine and blissful nervous system, to the latest breakthroughs in chiropractic science. I’ll be throwing in delicious eats and recipes I’ve come across, books I’ve been reading and stories of breathtaking parts of the world I’ve seen throughout the years.
Expect some weird and wacky musings and maybe even a little joke or two along the way. After all, life’s too short to not sprinkle a little humour and warmth into everything we do!

Can foot pain be coming from your back? 🧐
You bet your a** it can!
The amount of people we see with foot issues that have almost NOTHING wrong with their feet is astounding! 🤯
But how could this be?
The tissue on the bottoms of your feet is actually connected to a massive chain that runs up the back of your WHOLE body, over your head and connects onto your eyebrows!! This is called your Posterior Chain.
⚡️ Your whole body is all truly connected and nothing happens in isolation…EVER. ⚡️
Let me break this down a little more for you…
If your pelvis is rotated and not functioning as it should, it will create too much or not enough tension through your posterior chain (that chain of connective tissue we spoke about before).
This can cause dysfunction all the way down the leg and into the bottom of the foot, causing a ripping, tearing or burning sensation.
This is just one example and this type of thing actually happens all the way through the body!
This is why we always take a full body and nervous system approach with all of our treasured clients.
You are more than just a symptom or a foot, neck or back.
You deserve to have your whole body and nervous addressed because you are a whole person and that is how we get the best results.
