I think we owe it to all the children to actually stop talking about appearance. Full stop. And actually talk about how things really are, the things that actually matter, and be ok with receiving compliments, and even giving one to yourself occasionally 💞
I think daily I get called out for putting myself down, when I talk up positive body image for others? Ermigawd, self-deprecation is my go to… and I’d probably follow that line up with I’m so lame… and there it is again 💥

So this is a Plastic Free July 🩵
When you see a plastic litter situation that is overwhelming, you can make a difference. I feel like every small action helps. So on this day last week, when on a beach, near a river mouth, in Bali I saw so much litter, I chose just one item to target. Pepsodent 🦷 toothpaste tubes.
❓Why these❓
🌏 They are made by a global plastic giant Unilever - Jefferson City, MO who have the resources to , who should be compelled and obliged to .
🇮🇩 I have since discovered in Indonesia they don’t call toothpaste toothpaste, they say … such is the market dominance. Unilever USA are a giant, responsible for giant litter.
I totally felt an arse taking my 98 tubes back to my accommodation… as if I’d be passing the problem on to them.
But the staff were so happy that a visitor would care and take the time 💙
Then they told me they will take the tubes to a recycling centre to receive 1000 rupiah per kg… enough to make a difference here.
