Postnatal Boxing
Mixed it up with a fun boxing session for the Postnatal girls this morning, they killed it of course ๐คฉ๐ฅ

Pregnancy Exercise
The bench, or box squat features regularly in my training at the moment ๐โโ๏ธ
Squats in general are a fantastic exercise. They recruit so many muscles, some of the largest and most powerful in our bodies, and are such a functional movement. We spend half of our day squatting ๐ช๐ฝ๐ฆต
I particularly like a bench Squat, especially as part of a pre/post natal training program. How often as a Mum do you have to get up from a chair/couch etc while holding your baby?๐คฑ
ใใPregnancy Training Tip: Alignment โ

One thing to keep in mind as you move along your pregnancy journey and your belly is growing is your alignment.
Pregnancy causes several shifts in alignment including a shift in your centre of gravity, widening of your pelvis and pelvic tilt which can be the cause of common pregnancy complaints like back pain, hip or pelvic pain etc
Working to maintain a neutral alignment as much as possible can help reduce the stress on the body and likelihood of these issues.
