The end of the year is fast-approaching – as is the deadline to apply for parenting orders to cover arrangements over Christmas and the summer school holiday period.

If you require interim parenting orders for the 2024/2025 school holiday period, your application must be filed before 4pm Friday 8 November 2024 or it may not be heard by the Court prior to the Christmas period.

We’re excited to welcome Lauren Williams to the Wightons team.

Lauren joins us following a recent sea-change from Melbourne to the Surf Coast, and brings extensive experience in family law.

Since moving from New Zealand to Australia in 2017, Lauren has worked exclusively in family law. Lauren has a particular interest in complex property divisions, including asset pools involving businesses and trusts, valuation disputes and evidentiary issues.

Lauren offers strategic and compassionate legal advice and is dedicated to delivering the best possible outcome for her clients.

Outside of work, Lauren enjoys staying active, playing matchbox cars 🚗 with her two young sons and exploring the local beaches 🏖
