New Hyde Dacron No. 3 Crosscut in Hyde 9oz Dacron for Farr IMS 38 “Reverie” fitted in time for the last race of RGYC winter series.
They won the race which clinched the series by one point!

Plymouth update
Early start instigated by the race committee. 10am and hoping for three races. Our sailors holding down 1st, 3rd, 4th, 7th and 9th.
10 knots from west ( shifty breeze) with strong outgoing tide!
Regardless of how the cards fall, give it our best shot and stick to the sailors self appointed mantra at their branding session of being the team that is fair, friendly and competitive.

Morning walk, after reading the inspiring book “The Salt Path” by Raynor Wynn about their epic trek. At least I can say I have walked 5km of it!

Thank you to Hannah at Highwater Sails. Not only did she allow use of her loft to fix some sails but she picked me up at the Mountbatten centre and dropped me back!

The final day saw light winds and plenty of waiting, but Issy and George seized the moment with a fantastic 1st place finish in the only race of the day! The Australian team continued to excel, with Josh and Jack taking 1st overall and 7 Aussie boats in the top 20! Huge thanks to our UK friends for hosting an incredible regatta.

Quiet last day for the UK nationals leading up to the Worlds. Maybe a sea breeze later. Josh and Jack have it wrapped up and other Aussies all doing well.

Popped down to Hyde Sails main office for a great productive meeting with CEO Charlie Bird, International Sales Executive Paul Ho**er and Sail Designer Peter Crockford.
Great time talking all things Hyde and seeing a great range of accessories and products. Lots of chat re Hyde Sails and some great initiatives, particularly doing some work on a great new concept sail, an affordable Structural Luff Code 0/ Screecher sail specifically designed for the club racer or cruiser who sails short handed and needs an easy handling sail with no wrestling with cables etc.
