I wanted to have a word for 2024 and I think I’m almost there. This year I want to be brave, be happy and be confident. I need to leave a few doubts at the door and move forward with an ever evolving life.
I’m not sure exactly what I want, where I’m headed or how I’m going to get there, but I’m moving and I am feeling more confident.
I’ve had some big personal challenges over the past two years and I finally feel like I am getting on top of things and creating a happy and secure future for myself and my boys.
One of my other big interests is community building and that is something I would like to explore more from a social media perspective.
With this in mind, I think I have found my word and it is OPEN … I am going to work hard to be open to ideas, creativity, connections, business, health, people and love. I feel more open to opportunity and possibility than I have for a long time and I think using this word will remind me of that.

User Generated Content (UGC) is digital word of mouth, it’s one of the most under utilised organic marketing tools for small businesses.
When customers willingly and even enthusiastically post about your business, products or services to their friends, family and community they are giving you a digital shout out and potentially leading other people to your business! And, on top of that they have created content that you may be able to reshare on your social accounts!
UGC is more relatable and more trusted as it is not created by you 🧐 Yes, that’s right!
